Wish I could give 0 stars Don't Bother

They forgot my order, made out there was a delay in the kitchen, but they had to check again what I ordered. Then they didn't give me what I ordered, no apology. Food was bland, no seasoning or dressing. Also the dirty uncleaned toilet is right next to the open kitchen. Disgusting. Won't be coming back

Pros: Vegan. That's it

Cons: Tasteless , Poor service , Toilet next to the open kitchen. Delightful..!

Amazing creative delicious

The menu is great. It's unique. Not one disgusting piece of seitan in sight. Food is so tasty and inventive and presented really well. Plenty of gf options though I'd love to be able to have pancakes 🥞

Kimchi toastie is delicious!

Friendly and helpful staff— I’m gluten free and asked me if I waa coeliac which is good as not many places do. Had delicious gluten free bread and vegan cheese! Usually GF bread is rubbish and tasteless but I’ll definitely be returning for thst kimchi toastie, I was skeptical at first as I love kimchi but have never had it warm and with cheese but it was 10/10! Also the juice was delicious. I got the Beet juice

Pros: Healthy vegan food , Many GF options , Cold pressed juices

Cons: Not great parking for drivers

Handy for vegan options and nourishing

I’ve not eaten extensively here but I’ve had the frozen acia bowl and a salad and both were delicious. Nice area to chill out in. Can even take away and walk over to Victoria park

Delicious vegan food and lovely outdoor location

This is a great spot for the summer, just set back off the canal on a little green, with delicious vegan food, lots of which is really healthy. Lots of outdoor seating available.

Staff are pleasant, nachos, burgers, salads, BLTs, cakes and wine are all vegan and very tasty!! I particularly loved the salad and BLT!

Pros: Outdoor seating , Great variety , Nice staff

Cons: Only one toilet

Decent despite the price

Edited review after a lovely toasty. This is the health food bougie style of vegan place, serving juice and smoothies and a rotating menu of breakfast items including toasties and bagels. Suppose the location in the ex sports village gives it license to be a little pretentious.

Cons: Expensive , One sandwich option per day, Many items only available at weekends

Cool & Vegan

A good find in an 'up and coming' stretch of the canal. Great fresh juices (especially the green ones) and the baba salad was tasty and well thought out. They also have creative BBQ options.

Pros: Creative combinations, well executed

Cons: Reduced menu options (likely because of covid)

Heavenly vegan café overlooking the canal

I love this café. First up, it’s 100% vegan and gluten free. They serve the best gluten free bread I’ve tasted in the UK, it’s sourdough style. Great selection of healthy salads, home cooked soups or freshly baked GF cakes. Great coffees and kombuchas on offer. Costly decor. Only downside are there seem to be lots of people who arrive with their laptops and nurse a coffee for hours, but maybe it’s just the time of day I’ve visited. Highly recommended! FYI parking in the area is pretty much impossible.

Cute cafe on the canal

MOTHER is in a great location on the Hackney Wick canal. I really enjoyed the food (I got the curry and my boyfriend got the nachos). I had a great smoothie as well. It was a nice day, so we sat outside with a great view of the canal!

Pros: Nice location

Bang Average

So overpriced and I’m not too sure why? Yes, it’s organic but that doesn’t mean it has to be so much more expensive. I went for the “eggs” royal which was lovely, but was a mere two small pieces of muffin, “egg”, spinach and sauce. Didn’t fill me up and wasn’t worth the £11. My friend went for the burrito bowl for £9 which was a lot more filling than mine. I had a peanut smoothie which was really tasty and nutritious, but again was £6 for less than 500mls. For the price I expected the food to blow me away, but it didn’t. I agree with the majority of others that the staff were quite cold and I didn’t find them friendly at all. Not worth the journey there. Wouldn’t come back.

Pros: Food is tasty

Cons: Overpriced , Expensive , Unfriendly staff

Healthier options

I like that they have healthier options, there is a lot of vegan junk food on the London scene at the moment.
I've tried the bagel and the burrito bowl and both were really tasty. I would definitely choose the bagel again it has great nut based cream cheese and carrot 'salmon'. The coffee is good and there is a choice of plant milk.
Last time I visited I ate in. It was over the Easter weekend and it was a bit hectic. Service was ok but not particularly warm. Despite ordering to eat in food was served in take away containers which is a shame.
It is close to the canal and the Olympic Park which is nice for a post lunch walk.

Pros: Healthier vegan food, Good coffee , Close to Olympic Park

Cons: Eat in options served in disposables
