average - Edit
If it was 5 years ago i would rate 5 stars but now with so many other vegan cafés, this one is also average. The bean burger party does not hold together, the ones i make at home are miles better.
Read moreThe chick peas balls are quite nice.
EDIT: came back for the limited edition burger, quite nice, better thab the bean burger in my opinion but very small burger for the price.
Really nice gluten free bun.
Cons: Expensive, Small space with limited sitting places

Great food - Edit
We had a burger and sweet potato fries. They were both good, even though we don't really understand why every restaurant peels their sweet potatoes before turning them into fries? There is so much taste in the peel and it adds extra crunch. Anyway, it was still nice food, so would recommend this place on Brick Lane!

I really really liked this place - Edit
The food was amazing. The staff was super friendly and the food coma afterwards was so real. The only thing I can complain about is the size of the place. I think it has potential to grow but if you joining a bigger group of people be sure to reserve a table. Just go there! They also selling some vegan snacks buy the counter. Will definitely come back next time visiting London!

Great Spot - Edit
I stopped by here not fully knowing what to expect- hadn’t read any reviews. I ordered the jackfruit bbq burger(comes with slaw) and the cheese fries. The sandwich was quite messy but they provide forks. the chese fries came with mayo and ketchup- cheese wasn’t gooey and melted like a dairy-eater might be used to, but they were still good. Seating is very limited but that’s pretty common in most places in london...

A bit soggy and messy - Edit
I had been really looking forward to going to Mooshies, the burgers had good reviews and the photos looked great online. But I was disappointed as the burger was tasteless and so soggy that it just oozed out of the bun. It ended up being quite a messy meal. The chips and sweet potato fries were quite good. But I left wishing that I'd ordered something else.

awesome messy burgers! - Edit
I’m surprised people are complaining about how messy the burgers are to eat - surely that’s part of the whole burger eating experience! Messy, sticky, saucey and delicious! I had the “beef” burger which was pretty similar to a Big Mac - and was amazing! Good cheese chips and a chilled atmosphere. Loved that they had a really good vegan bun too and could adapt items to be GF. Really recommend this place and can’t wait to go back!

Not enough effort - Edit
Walked in on London’s coldest day of the year and sat down next to the heater. A guy greeted me in the door so it surprised me when there where no table service. The menu screams fast food restaurant so that’s what I expected when ordering.
Read moreMy friend had the Pulled Mooshie - Pulled jackfruit with very little flavour and mild spice. She liked the crisp cold slaw but we both felt there where something missing. The burger bun was absolutely amazing giving the dish a final score of 7/10
My own Brick Lane Bhaji - a enormous serving bigger than anything I ever seen was a Indian full dinner in between two buns. Although very tasty it was the messiest thing I’ve devoured (could not even put it down or it would collapse) and it was hardly a burger landing it a final score of 5/10
The sweet potato fries where very average, crispy but tasteless and the cheese sticks where simply a giant block of vegan cheese that tasted awful.
I’d recommend getting the Bhaji “burger” as a quick lunch to go if in the neighbourhood but don’t go out of your way to get here. Prices are affordable but Brick Lane has a lot better stuff to offer.
Pros: Afordabel, Fast, Filling
Cons: Poor quality, Unclear service arrangement, Uncomfortable seating

GFO burgers too - Edit
Enter, find somewhere to sit, then order at the counter.
Read moreI had the filet om phish despite not liking seaweed, my friend had the gfo what's ur beef and we shared some cheesy fries. I liked my burger (apart from the seaweed, no surprise their), which basically features a couple of battered aubergine slices, condiments and lettuce shreds. It's a messy affair - although not as messy as the pulled jackfruit burger. As ketchup, mustard and mayo are available, we didn't order any side dipping sauces, which are a bit on the expensive side.
Service was super friendly and how great that everything on the menu is vegan - and some gf options too.
Pros: Tastes so good, All vegan & gluten free options too, Staff
Cons: Messy eating, Bit pricey, Limited seating

We had the Filet om Fish and Nutcracker burgers and both were amazing! I loved the ‘xmas’ spicing of the nutcracker with the peanut and cranberry sauce. The cheesy sticks were very tasty but a bit pricey. Staff were lovely and nice atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

Mushy and messy but moreish - Edit
I’m conflicted about Mooshies. On the positive side, it’s great that vegans have a place to go that serves dirty, sticky, messy junk food that leaves you licking your fingers and guiltily wiping the table (and your clothes) of crumbs, sticky sauce and stray bits of lettuce. The What’s The Beef burger is delicious - a black bean and quinoa patty with caramelized onions, melted vegan cheese, gherkins and burger sauce in a squishy bun. Just like a vegan Big Mac, although too mushy for my liking (half of the patty fell out and I had to eat it from the plastic tray with a fork). The sweet potato fries are not bad, although portions are small. The battered-aubergine and nori seaweed Phillet-O-Fish is ingenious, although served with way too much tartare sauce and shredded lettuce, so you need a bib to eat it! The food is tasty but messy and you don’t get a plate, so I had to pour ketchup and BBQ sauce onto a serviette to dip my fries into. The other sides are weird and v expensive. A small pot of guacamole with plantain crisps (clearly from a packet) was £4.50! No regular potato fries available. Chickpea balls were greasy. Didn’t try the vegan cheese sticks. Desserts (by an external provider - the renowned vegan Vida Bakery) looked delicious but we were too full. Downstairs there was a queue for the one unisex toilet which was blocked, right opposite the open door to the kitchen. Refined cooking and super-hygienic it ain’t. But for a guilty, mushy, (expensive) pleasure now and again, sure.

So happy to stumble across this place. I had the Pulled Mooshie because I was in the mood for Jackfruit and I really miss being able to have coleslaw easily.
Read moreThought the burger bun was delicious! And the pulled Jackfruit hit the spot, nice & spicy BBQ sauce and tasty coleslaw.
Had a locally produced ginger beer (Dalstons) which was also de-lish.
Friendly and welcoming staff, very chilled and cool vibe.
Coming back before the end of the month to try The Nutcracker.

More like Mushie - Edit
This was a bit depressing.
Read moreThe ‘beef’ burger was mush in a bun, you wouldn’t have known there was a burger in there.
Apparent not having ordinary potato chips is a USP. Then saw the chap lugging McCain Sweet Potato Fries down the stairs so hardly unique.
The chick p bites were a bit dull. Random sweetcorn in coleslaw alert.
Luckily the cheese sticks were fine, the guacamole was great and thus our lunch was saved, a bit.
Pros: Vegan
Cons: McCain Sweet Potato Chips??, Mushie burgers, A bit like the old days

Good fast food - Edit
I've been here a number of times now and have had the opportunity to try everything on the menu! I particularly like the 'cheesy' sweet potato fries, and their home made guacamole is the best I've had. All of their burgers are great and I'd be hard-pressed to pick a favourite.
Read moreBecause this is fast food, I will say it's best enjoyed when you're in the mood for some comfort food, when you've had a few drinks in the Brick Lane area, or if you're hungover, haha.
The beer and wine are nice too.
The atmosphere is good, and whilst it can get very busy on occasion I've also been when it's relatively quiet, if not having to be seated beside anyone else is what you'd prefer. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is good. Great value for money, too.
My one complaint is more a personal thing than anything, and that's that I'd rather they take out the 'meat' names (what's your beef, fillet-om-phish...why not just call them black bean burger or aubergine burger?). That's just my personal preference though and no reflection on the quality of the food itself!
Pros: good food, friendly staff, Nice atmosphere
Cons: Can get a bit packed sometimes, I would prefer no references to meat products

Was expecting more :( - Edit
The burgers look amazing in photos and apparently, they've been compared to Big Mac, so my expectations were really high. I got the phish burger and tried the quinoa one - they were fine. Just fine, nothing more. I wouldn't go back tbh, sadly. Nevertheless, it's awesome to have another vegan joint in London!
