Eten altijd super lekker. Heel veel keuze zeker niet eentonig. Snelle zelfbediening. Super dat er zoiets in de stad bestaat. Veel verschillende gerechten variëren ook vaak van menu.

Tasty food in a modern setting - Edit
There are raw vegan and cooked vegan options that you can choose from and put on your plate. Everything costs the same and you pay for the total weight on your plate. A full plate is 20-25 euro. The food is tasty and filling, and definitely not boring, there were many interesting dishes to choose from.

Cons: Music a bit loud, maybe a bit pricy

Over the moon? - Edit
Staying in Brussels for one night, I had one chance to try one of the vegan restaurants there. However, for some weird reason many restaurants are closed on Tuesday in Belgium (earlier that day I tried to have lunch in Liege and everything was closed). So, Moon Food wasn't my first choice; it was simply the only thing open.
Read moreMoon Food is a buffet style raw vegan restaurant in the so-called Government region where all the offices of the European Union as well as many embassies are located. This means it isn't exactly a sparkling or lively place.
When entering, the mood at Moon Food is quite a contrast! Bare concrete and warm wood make for an interesting contrast to dim lighting, while rather loud mood music is playing. It all seems very sophisticated!
The buffet offers plenty of choice. One station is all hot food, one offers all cold food. I simply tried a bit of everything. One pays by weight, expect about 10 euros for a full plate. Add 2 euros for a drink. Everything tasted just fine. My advice: if there's little left in a pan, then that's the most popular for a reason.
The taste is never spectacular and I never had the feeling of eating something special. One point of a restaurant is enjoying food one can't (easily) prepare at home, but in this case it all tasted like average quality home-made food. Therefor Moon Food is a place to go for convenience, but I wouldn't recommend it was a treat or a night out with friends.
Pros: Open on Tuesdays, Fair price, Wide variety
Cons: Average taste, No cosy athmosphere

Really good vegan buffet - Edit
I was hungry when I arrived, and satisfied when I left. The buffet had lots of variety of good choices. I had a really nice burger, salad with hummus, excellent channa masala, califlower, and fried potatoes. The kamboucha was unsweetened, which was nice. The cake looked good, but I was too full!

Sweetest staff and good food! - Edit
We went here for two times and never got disappointed. One time we just helped ourselves at the raw buffet and the other time we got some warm food from the other side and a raw coconut cake. Everything was quite tasty and the staff was super sweet and attentive, explaining how the payment is done and even letting us sit and eat up for an hour after closing.

It's not hummus if there's no tahini in it! - Edit
We went for dinner and there was not much food to choose from. The rice was not very good and the hummus can use much more tahini.

Tasty vegan food by weight - Edit
This was a nice restaurant offering food only by weight (aside from a fixed price on dessert items and soup). I would imagine it is best to get there near the start of the service so you get the freshest food possible, however when I went in the late afternoon the food was still nice. I found I got a lot of food for the price this way, as I found Brussels to be an expensive city (as far as food). My favourite things I ended up trying were the lasagna and the chickpeas. I would have gone a second time had I been able to before my trip was over.

Surprisingly good vegan place - Edit
It is our favourite vegan place in Bruxelles. All their food is vegan, self served and paid by weight (some exceptions). Food is fresh and tasty, not oily. Staff was nice.

Good food, but pricy and service could be better - Edit
We planned to check this place out because we like vegan-only restaurants, of which there are just a few in Brussels. The food was good, but the overall experience disappointing. There was a huge line, because only one of the two cash registers was open. By the time we got to pay, the hot food had turned cold. We knew already from other reviews that it was pricey, so no real surprises there, but it would be a good idea to place a weighing scale at the buffet to allow people to check how much they can be expected to pay in advance. For the rest, we found that the place lacked atmosphere, the music wasn't very pleasant and it was too cold inside. With a few adjustments, they could make it into a much nicer experience, given the high prices.

Tasty - Edit
The food tastes wonderful ! You can sit there to eat or just take it out. Ofc like all the other people said here it is quite expensive for what you get. Like a small piece of pie is almost 4 euro.

The food was quite good and healthy, everything is vegan an gluten-free so no need to worry about the labels. But what a bad surprise when you arrive at the counter, the price is 2,7/100g so you better be not eating

You take a plate and whatever food you put on it is weighted. There are 2 stations, hot and cold and you can chose from raw or cooked vegan dishes. Everything is vegan too. If you would like to try something new, get inspired or just feed your belly, I recommend it.

Bad quality/price ratio - Edit
The price was about 2.70 eur/100 g which is quite expensive but the food looked very good. We tried a little bit of everything and the only thing that was really worth it was mushroom sauce. The rest was very not really tasty... We didn't try the raw food because of the price per g.

Healthy but not very tasty and quite pricey. - Edit
There is a raw food section and a cooked vegan food section. The cooked one is tasty but I find there is something missing in the raw section, it is not very satisfying. The raw vegan chocolate/coco cake was delicious! :) The staff is fine but the price is only affordable if you eat very little as it goes by weight and it often gets VERY expensive!

Creative, raw, convenient, but something missing - Edit
The food on paper is amazing raw, vegan cuisine. I eat as raw as possible so it was convenient to find this place near my accommodation in Brussels. Buffet style food tends to mean it won't be as good as a normal restaurant in my opinion, and it held somewhat true. The food could feel soggy, old, and a bit bland sometimes. It was also pretty expensive. However, I spent every day eating at this place and it's fantastic to have a raw vegan buffet in Brussels.

Nice interior and delicious food. But it's definitely not cheap. €15 for a medium sized plate not filled much. I think €10 would have been fairer. Would still recommend this place though if you don't care about the cost

glad to find living food option - Edit
Most vegan places serve cooked food and salads only. I was delighted to find living foods here. Raw dehydrated crackers, raw pizza and zoodle salad. We were here at the end of the day and there was still enough choices to pick from available.

enjoyable - Edit
I come here often enough, half the food is raw, half isn't. It's all vegan. You pick your dishes and your plate is weighed. As a self-serving place, the service is basic. The owner is a bit weird trying to figure our which languages we speak ,between my partner and I we speak 6 languages and all official ones of belgium-we don't care what language you speak or trying to to find the dominant one to manage a conversation of how much the food is, and how to pay (which we could understand in 20 languages), but this is a very belgian thing, they are insistant on speaking to one in the right language-but it's weird. It's a bit weird to be so insistant on language for a place that basically doesn't need to offer any service. Food is good enough, it's quite a fast place to eat in. Just keep track of how much your food weighs.

wasnt impressed - Edit
I wasnt impressed by this place. I like the serve yourself option, that way you can have a little bit of everything if you wish, but they weigh the plate to determine the cost and I did not load up my plate yet the price was expensive for what I served myself. Also when I went, the food was lacking a lot of spices. The interior is nice though with lots of seating.
