Lovely spot for a quick brunch

Laid back vibe and the vegan hummus and veg was nice. This dish is also gluten free. The hot drinks have milk alternatives, there are vegan sweet treats and there are also fresh juices available.

Got vegetarian there are more options with scrambled eggs on toast and the "Avo benny eggs" as well as sweet yoghurt bowls

Pros: Vegan quinoa bowl, Avo benny eggs

Cons: Not lots of vegan option but a few

Wow!

I was desperately looking for vegan breakfast on a monday morning in brussel - harder than expected!! And still, a few meters away from my hotel I got lucky.

Usually I'm sceptical if there's only very few vegan options and then even these appear to be very basic things, but I was noooot disappointed. The "Vegan Bagel" was beautiful and tasted so amazing. Hummus, grilled veggies, salad with a flavourful dressing - basic but filling and yummy.
Afterwards I got the "Banana Bread" (only vegan pastry among the huge amount) and the "gecko ball" to go. The bread was dry and I would never get it again, but the energy ball fulfilled its job and tasted perfect.

Maybe there's better options for vegans, but I don't regret eating here! Also, the interior is amazing and so comfortable.

Good cafe with some vegan options like banana bread and a savoury bagel

They do charge extra (€0,50) for plant-based milk, hope this will be cancelled in the future.

Pros: Some vegan options

Cons: Surcharge for plantbased milk

Couldn’t try anything

Although they’re open until 8pm, kitchen closes at 4pm! (Went at 7pm) Of course you’re not told until you have wasted 15 minutes queuing with some of the slowest service ever (3 people on line before me)

Pros: Slow service, Kitchen closed, Expensive

Only limited vegan options

For breakfast only banana bread or a veggie hummus bowl as vegan options to eat. I went there two times at 9.00 o'clock.

Hip and packed

I went there on a Sunday because most of these hip cafés (with lattes, people working on laptops, cosy sofas - you know the kind) are only open during business times (ie weekdays til 6), and I was looking for a place where to read a book.
It was not a good idea. It's just too packed on Sundays.

Pros: Croissants

Cons: Noisy with crowd and loud music, What's with the NAME of the place!? Leopold II was, like the worst of all possible kings, really

Great for the price

This cafe restaurant offers one vegan bagel options and one vegan bowls as well as two vegan cakes (banana bread). The bowls are great for the price (9€) and the banana/chocolate bread was really tasty. Overall great to eat a quick lunch in Bruxelles.

Fewer options available

It's the second time I come here and the options I want are not available (e.g. acai/pitaya bowl, veggie bowl). It's probably bad luck but not a great start. I had fresh juice instead.
