Loved it - Edit
I ate there last year before taking the train, as it's indeed very close to the train station. I loved it so much. The stuff was very nice and the food variety was huge. I ordered the Buddha bowl, and then some chocolate cake. Both of them were delicious af. It was a very stressful day, and my stop there had made my day. Totally recommend it.

Mainzer Highlight - Edit
Kleine Karte, auf der trotzdem für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei ist. Sehr zu empfehlen sind allerdings die Spinat Waffeln. Einen Espresso danach sollte man sich zudem nicht entgehen lassen.

Cute cafe - Edit
Really cozy interiors and the food was pretty good as well. We had brunch here and the savoury food was a bit average but the cake selection was amazing! Had a vanilla tonka bean cake and it was super delicious.

delish & friendly - Edit
food prepared with love, cakes beautiful for the eye & taste buds. Formerly, no fancy attitudes, excellent range of meal choices, gold standard. Recently, attitudes came up, i.e., not one single meal can be prepared without garlic, even if restaurant is half empty: "plain rice is our only garlic-free meal and there are no vegetables or ingredients without it."

Quirky, delicious and inventive - Edit
This was the first vegan restaurant in Mainz, and it has been built with obvious love. The interior has always had a quirky and hand-made flair (you sit on wooden crates etc.) but over the years, the restaurant has grown and offers more and more options: quite wonderful vegan breakfasts, curries, bowls, cake.

yummy and filling - Edit
Möhrenmilieu is a charming and cozy little restaurant with a cute outside area.
Read moreThey offer different bowls, around two other dishes and also different breakfast options, as well as cakes.
I had the Budda bowl and a spirulina ginger latte.
The size of the bowl was great - a big and really filling meal for 10€. It was yummy, but not extraordinary or fancy look or taste, more like good homecooked food, hearty and nourishing.
I enjoyed the latte, too.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, the location is very cute, too!
Pros: friendly staff , good value

Lots of character - Edit
Fully vegan. Great diversity of sweet and savoury food. Funky character venu. We shared vegan cheesecake and gnocchi for lunch. The gnocchi was pretty standard. The cake was incredible.

not very impressive - Edit
The atmosphere is all okay. The toilett is in urgent need of refurbishment. Food is not very impressive but still pricey.
Read moreI ate the Buddha Bowl, which was completely dry, not good at all. The fruit in the bowl was not fresh nor tasty. It wasn´t worth to money.
My friend had a hamburger, which was good. The cakes that we tried were tasty and the filter-coffee was also good. I´d consider come back to Möhren Milieu to eat a hamburger or apple-cake again.
Pros: eco-friendly, all vegan , chilled and friendly people
Cons: significant need of renovation - toiletts, expensive

Enjoyed every bite - Edit
When I was in Mainz for work, I went to Moehren Milieu Eco Cafe for lunch. I chose this restaurant for a couple of reasons. I was close by, it had car park close by and it was vegan. Moehren Milieu Eco Cafe is obviously very popular with the locals, because both the outside and inside seating were busy.
Read moreWhen I took a seat and waited for the waitress to come to me, it seemed to take forever. There's a relaxed vibe in the restaurant and both the customers and staff seem to move at their own, slow pace. That's nice, but if one only has time for a quick lunch not so good. The menu is only in German and has no pictures, so I could do with a little help. It turned out that at Moehren Milieu Eco Cafe the customers order at the counter and the waitress only comes to the table to deliver the food. Lesson learned (and time for lunch break almost used up).
I ordered a green smoothie and the "Buddha bowl". Since I waited too long for the waitress (my mistake), they prepared it extra quickly. Within 2 or 3 minutes I had my food. And it was wonderful! The "Buddha bowl" has an unpresidented amount of ingredients, from beans to rice to fruits. Since there's so much variety in the ingredients it seemed like a random selection, but in fact it all matched and enriched each other perfectly. In fact, this was the best Buddha bowl I ever ate. I enjoyed every bite and I advice you to visit Moehren Milieu Eco Cafe to do the same. Do order at the desk though, don't sit and wait for the waitress to come to you...
Pros: excellent food, fair prices, car park close by
Cons: everything in German and no pictures, customers have to come to the desk to order

Would definitely recommend - Edit
Cozy vegan restaurant. The Buddah bowl was really delicious and I also enjoyed the small piece of cake that came with my ingwer tea. The prices were fair in my opinion. The place is even open on national holidays. Hope I can go again the next time I'm in Mainz!

Charming with healthy, yummy vegan food! - Edit
I´ve been here three times and have always thoroughly enjoyed my food, especially the bowls. The only exceptions were the pancake cake and the apricot pie, which tasted a bit bland. They source most of their food organically and offer gluten-free dishes as well as raw desserts and smoothies, which explains for their not exactly cheap prices. I so love their upcycled interior design, which makes this place absolutely unique and charming and gives it a homey feel. The other guests were very pleasant so I felt totally comfortable sharing the long table with them. Luckily enough, they didn´t mind standing up and letting me out and in again when I went to the counter to order dessert or went to the toilet. When in Mainz, make sure to visit this gem of a café!

Good but not sweet - Edit
I visited the Mören Milieu and liked the alternative atmosphere. The Buddha Bowl tasted just fantastic. But the peach pie i had was not so good. I tested the Serge Bowl and the Pancake cake of my accompaniment. Again the Bowl was very good, the cake was not so good.

Unfortunately the staff is friendly but uninformed. As I asked if the homemade limo is unsweetened they confirmed. As I tried it and it was unexpected sweet it turned out (asked another waitress) it was sweetened with Sirup.

Perfect atmosphere! - Edit
The cake we had was delicious and all the other food options looked or sounded just as promising. The coffee is good, but a bit pricey for the small cups you get - but it‘s all fair, organic etc. so that‘s probably why! What we liked best about this place is the good atmosphere, it‘s very relaxing.
