The cake was delicious! - Edit
Had a bit of time while changing the train and figured out that this place is very close from the central station. Even with a heavy suitcase it was a quick and easy way. Unfortunately, they were closing in few min (the opening times were different due to the christmas holiday season I guess) so I could just order a cake to go in a hurry. The place looked very cozy with furnitures made of recycled/upcycled materials. The tonka cream cake (I think..) was absolutely tasty.. never had such a creamy and dense cake! Quickly disappeared while I was waiting for the train. Would love to come back with more time and try out their savory dishes as well.
Pros: Close from the station, Cozy atmosphere, Tasty cake!
Cons: different opening hours during the holidays?

All You Need Is Here! - Edit
I am rare with 5cows, but this place is 'original' and deserves 5cows. Eco-friendly interior, good variety of food. From breakfast, burgers or wraps and daily Curry's&Co. We really enjoyed the two hours we've spent there.
And there is a small store as well. All vegan, partially RAW and organic.
Pros: Nice Staff, Taste, Eco
Cons: Too Far From My Hometown ;-)

Great place, great vegan food - Edit
Möhrenmilieu is a small and very nice location near Mainz' central train station.
The food they serve is 100% vegan and there are also lots of raw vegan appetising snacks. It's really worth it's price, considering it's organic as well.
They have a small store for vegan delicacies such as cheese, chocolate, raw food, super foods, etc.
All in all, Möhrenmilieu is definitely worth to visit when you're in Mainz or it's surroundings because the food really is very creative and various. They change the menu frequently but they also serve standard snacks like burgers or cookies.
The food truck usually offers one main dish as well as a dessert.

Promising - Edit
The first vegan place in Mainz. This is a lovely little place with very friendly staff, good hours, and convenient access to the train station. The food was a bit mixed in quality, but this may be a matter of time and of specific food choices; I'm definitely going to try it a few more times. They also have a store, and run a food-truck, neither of which I've tried.
Pros: nice place, friendly staff, affordable
Cons: food was mixed, small menu: more cafe than restauarant
