Yummy food, pricey! - Edit
Great pad Thai, vegetarian option offered without asking. We went on a Monday evening, and they had a reduced menu of Pad Thai only, and when our friends arrived a bit later, they said they didn’t have anything left. Took about 45 minutes for food to arrive even though there were literally 5 other people there (3 had already been served), but portions were massive and the food was really good. Bit on the pricey side for eating out in Huanchaco at 42 soles a portion, which you don’t know until you ask a server!

Favorite spot in Huanchaco - Edit
Awesome spot with good options for vegans. No formal menu, the waiter will tell you what they're making that day. You must ring a bell to get in, it doesn't look like a restaurant at first. Great vibe once you're up in the roof though.

Incredible pad Thai, yummy tofu curries, huge portions, super cute rooftop and decor, and a sweet and attentive couple cooking and serving the food.

Read moreThere are not that many places around serving vegan food, so it was great to find this place which has exceptional food. They only have two options on their menu - a pad thai and a curry (possible in red or green). We tried the pad thai and it tasted amazing! Everything was really fresh and a big portion as well. After asking for vegan options, we could just swap out the meat and egg for some fried tofu. The restaurant is located on the rooftop of a building close to the seafront and you can see the ocean from the table.
Pros: Great taste , Cute location , Friendly staff

I would have given this 5 stars for the quality of food if it wasn't for happy cow's restriction of 4* for places serving non-veggie food.
Read moreBoth the Pad Thai and Red Curry were exceptional. Pricier than most of the restaurants in the area but large portions and good quality food served by very friendly owners.
It's not open every day I don't think - check the Facebook page for when it is. It's also located on a roof terrace and you need to ring the bell next to a sign saying 'Thai Food' at the bottom (i.e. it's not completely obvious at first - we stood there for a while wondering how to get up there).
