Such a lovely spot!

The menu del día was about 17 soles each and it was so nice!

We arrived at 12:30pm but the guy explained they weren’t ready for lunch service yet, as his partner was still out at the market buying produce for the day. We returned an hour later and enjoyed a delicious lunch consisting of pumpkin soup for starter, and main dishes of sweet and sour tofu, and bean stew with grilled tofu and rice (2 options for main). They said everything was vegan.

Beautiful healthy food that felt like it was made with love. The dishes were also topped with nooch which I think is the first time I’ve got to have nooch in South America (I miss it!).

Pros: owned by a really nice couple, tasty & nourishing food, shop with lots of goodies

Favourite place in Huanchaco

We were here a week and ate here about 5 times, fantastic vegetarian and vegan food and very reasonable prices. The lady who runs it is lovely and there’s heaps of local and artisanal products too.
