Closed - Edit
Visiting MBK on December 19th 2021, this vegetarian food counter B.04 was closed. Unfortunately, it looks like it won't be operating anymore in the future.

Good vegan pad thai - Edit
No real ambiance as it's a food floor of a mall, and confusing payment system.

Great cheap and fresh - Edit
I went 3 days in a row. The tom yum soup (without noodles) was amazing - probably the best I ever had. I think the noodles might be egg so I had the noodle-less option. Not everything is vegan. You have to specify NO egg or milk.
Read moreRed curry was good. Stir fried morning glories, Pan fried Tofu Vegetables Vermicelli was excellent.
Stuff tasted fresh and flavorful. They prepare the food in front of you.
Great find at a food court! I avoid eating food that has been prepared ahead of time and sitting on warmers. You just don't know how long it's been sitting there....

Fave eatery in BKK? - Edit
I think this was my favourite food joint in Bangkok! It was cheap and delicious and pretty quick! Glad they use reusable plates and cutlery in the food court

I usually go to the other veg place at this food court but thanks to Happy Cow I stumbled on this place instead. All fresh ingredients thrown into a wok and cooked as you watch. Lots options, very tasty. Spacious environment. Recommended!

Great food, Reasonably Priced - Edit
There are approximately 30 different dishes to choose from on the menu, most of which are vegan. Be sure to request that your dish contain no eggs, they will understand. Generally they will ask if you want egg included anyway. I haven't seen them use any fish sauces either during any of my visits over the past few months coming here, only soy sauce, so that's great! I have tried about 20 of the dishes from their menu and all of them were great. Expect great food if you have low standards, this is in a food court in Asia after all. If I had to pick a favourite to recommend it would be the Red Curry.. It would rank in my top 3 & I've tried them all over the country. They cook your order right in front of you, you can sit at the bar and watch them. It's very cool to see. Overall I am very impressed by this little restaurant. To pay, you will need to purchase a refundable dining card at the cashier nearby. Look for a little green booth. The restaurant is a little bit hard to find on first visit. Head all the way to the end of the food court on Floor 6 (the northernmost end of MBK). It is located just past the Lebanese Restaurant.

GOTTA BE PUSHY!!! - Edit
I came at dinner time around 7pm and it is BUSY! - I was waiting around the shop/little kitchen for a while and there is no clear “ordering line” so it gets a bit chaotic when people from all angles begin ordering 5 dishes each hahah. I was nearly left in the dust but spoke up that they forgot my order and the cook made sure it was cooked ASAP.

Tasty enough and lots of options - Edit
I’ve been here twice now - because I’m in the area, it’s cheap and quick not because it’s a fave...both times I’ve had rice and three sides (60B) I think their curries in the hot counter are best. If you go earlier there is salad and more options, plus the dishes on the side are warmer. Some of the meat substitutes are too real for me, but there is a good selection of veg and tofu.

Good Pad Thai Cheap - Edit
I ordered Pad Thai. They asked me if with or without egg, very kind question as I am vegan (the place is vegetarian). Good taste. Good price. They cook your food in the moment so you can eat it hot (unlike in the other veggie place in the same floor).

So happy with this find - Edit
One of the most unusual shopping centres I have ever been to. Specially the fourth floor. After tiring out had no hope on finding a vegan or a vegetarian place in MBK. Stroller on the sixth floor and find this place. Although a vegetarian place it is vegan friendly and will not add eggs to any meals that have eggs.
Read moreOrdered a Pad Thai that was advertised and perhaps on special and #8 - Fried Tofu with Cashews that comes with rice and a #16 Tom Yam with “instant noodles”.
The Pad Thai that comes with eggs was omitted and was good. Decent quantity and taste up to the mark that I expected. Nice flavour and seasoning and cooked perfectly.
The Fried Tofu with Cashews was OK. Nothing special and nothing to complain about as well. The flavours were muted and plain.
The Tom Yam Soup was the best I ever had. The flavours of sweet, sour, spicy and coconut milk was out of this world. The noodles seemed whole wheat and were fresh rather than the fried from instant packet I was expecting. Fresh galangal and lemon grass pieces. Oh my. I could fly from home to MBK just for this.
Vegans rejoice! You have a safe haven at MBK.

my go-to lunch spot when in bangkok - Edit
flavorful fast food at super affordable prices and lots of seating options. there is a full buffet (the earlier you go the better!) and soup & choice-of-noodles option. hit up the soy sauce, vinegar, chiles & sugar by the counter to doctor your bowl up. definitely the best vegan meal I can think of, let alone the most convenient, in this area!

Cheap but cold - Edit
It takes a while to get to the 6th floor, but there was quite a few options and it was quite cheap. I just pointed at a couple of dishes I liked the look of, so not sure what I had, but I ate it all. We did visit towards the end of the day, and the food was a tad cold, where I am guessing it had been out for some time. If you are vegetarian, the stall next to this does plain omelettes, which I also had and added some warmth to my meal.

Good Taste Vegetalian - Edit
Bangkok can be frustrating for a vegetarian that doesn’t like his food from a wok that had meat in it three minutes before. This food stall at MBK Center (floor 6 not 5) does the trick for me.
Read moreNo meat in here and also no fish sauce. They serve eggs, but happily leave them away if you ask.
The food is fresh and delicious.
All dishes are between 60 and 70 Baht, except the spring rolls that are 20 Baht per piece.
Unlike many other places in Bangkok, this place seems to be hygienic.
Pros: No meat, no fish sauce in here., Staff is very friendly., Clean environment
Cons: They serve eggs
