100% vegan, great variety - Edit
Not sure why this entry said limited vegan options, it's 100% vegan with a great range of authentic cuisine. I got this rice dish with a choice of any two curries for 65BHT. There is a lot of mock meat dishes but also a few pure veggies. One curry was very hot, which was a bit much for 1030, but she did warn me when I chose it!

It's cheap. You buy coupons at the central counter and cash them in for food at the serving stalls. You will be staggered how much you get for the money.
We've been back to Bangkok a few times since our first review and always find this stall again for their reliable, cheap good food.
Their grilled tofu platter with pickled ginger is fantastic but actually everything is really tasty. Some dishes are quite spicy and you can help yourself to spicy sauces and chillis to add on top!
OK, it's in a brightly-lit shopping centre food hall and MBK is always busy and noisy, so it can feel a bit like being back in a school canteen but you will eat alongside Thai people as well as visitors and the quality of this place beats any UK Food Court fare!
As another reviewer suggests, we get a fresh juice from the stall opposite the veggie stand. All very cheap.

The Best Value Vegan Food in Bangkok - Edit
This place has EXCEPTIONAL value for money. The staff do not speak much or any english but communication still works fine. It was a little far for us to travel and eat here all the time but we were never disappointed. The Vegan Duck Noodle Soup is a highlight.

Tasty thai food that feels like it was made at grandmas house! Lots of different options, it wasn’t super clear what everything was but I got a mushroom dish and a tofu dish with rice and it was super tasty. Really cheap also, only 60 bahts for rice with two curries. 10/10 recommend if you’re in the area.

Read morePaying is extremely over complicated. You have to go and buy a card, load cash and then pay, then you have to go and get the card refunded.
The stir fried dishes we had were ice cold so I assume they had been sat on the side most of the day.
The one plus is that it's very cheap.

Super tasty food, that was also a good price. I wish I could eat more, so I could've tried more dishes. The vegan duck noodles were delicious, the vegan duck had a nice structure, and the pink noodles were my favourite. Really highly recommend going here.

Pretty good, only 70 baht for stir fried noodles although you have to get a food court card first and when you return it you dont get your money back so make sure to check the price of what you want first then go get one

I've been here several times and really can't give any advice how to avoid a negative experience or when's the best time to come. On one day every chosen food was tasty and heated up. Another day it was cold, rock hard and tasted like unseasoned lame plain white tofu or like something overcooked from the day before. They display their dishes at the counter and you can choose like a buffet what I really like. All the options look nice. The employees aren't quite motivated or helpful with choices l but the food is ready in a heartbeat. The mock duck soup was nice.

Inside the MBK mall! Ate here three times in Bangkok as it's super good! I always order a rice with two or three toppings. No more than 65 baht. They have vegan curries, fritters, vegan duck, lots of other mock meats and tofu within dishes, noodles and lots more! Very good!

This place is a vegetarian food stall on the 6th floor of the MBK shopping mall in a large food hall. You have to pick up a card as you enter and load it with money and then you 'spend' at each stall with the card. Their food is super flavourful, we had the vegetarian duck noodles in broth and a rice and 2 curry platter with greens and aubergine ... very spicy! . Both meals came to 130 baht which is about £3... phenomenal value if you like a bargain or are backpacking/on a budget. There are also drinks stalls for smoothies, coffee, etc. A great find 👍

After about 10 minutes, my noodles arrived, piping hot and packed with veggies and tofu. Pro tip: if you’re not a spice fanatic, maybe skip the extra chili sauce and red pepper—I went all in and now I’m sitting here with my mouth on fire, plotting my next stop for ice cream!
The food was simple but delicious, making it a fantastic, no-frills lunch option. And at just $2, how can you go wrong?
