Looking on a map, you might think. Marta's might be a little hard to find in all the little alleys of old town, but it's not at all- and trust me- you'll want to pop in & try them out!

We ordered the black bean burger & the beetroot burger, both severed with fresh cut potato chips. The lady taking our order was lovely, and the restaurant itself, though small, had a cosy and warm vibe.
Our food didn't take long, and when it arrived at our table, it looked amazing! My partner & I shared the burgers to give them both a try.
They were delicious! I don't want to take sides, but the beetroot burger was the best I've had! I highly recommend! Definitely trumps the black bean, in my opinion.
You can taste the freshness in the food, and can tell it is all home/hand made, with a lot of love.
Definitely need to visit and try this little hidden gem- great food, great staff and reasonable prices!

we loved the quinoa salad and the burrito bowl, we both add'ed extra stir-fried veggies to our plates in order to get really full, and it went really well with the dishes. I tried a draft beer, that reminded me a lot about leffe which also complimented the food really well. make reservations here if you visit during july and august as it tends to get crowded !

Right in the city centre of Split, it's a small but nice place. They don't have a wide variety of dishes but enough for choosing: soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches, juices... Everything is homemade! Beet burger was really good, just a recommendation, I'd do it thinner, at the end it feels too thick.

Tried the black bean burger which was good but a little dry. It came with some really delicious fries and a homemade tomato sauce. It cost 70kn all up which I thought was a bit expensive for what it was.

Great veggie food in a small cafe in the centre of the historic Palace part of Split. So good we went twice in fact dirimg out time in the city. We had the beet burger and bean burger, both excellent. If you are nice to the waitress she will play The Smiths...

This is probably one of the coolest restaurants I've ever been to! I tried the black bean burger and it was really delicious with perfect flavours. The homemade ice tea is also very nice and not too sweet. They also serve breakfast, craft beers and a few other bits and pieces. Other than milk in coffee, I couldn't spot anything non-vegan in the menu. Really good value for money!

Such a cozy place, probably better for lunch then dinner though since it's in the middle of a shopping street. However we had dinner here and it was lovely. I had the burger and it was great. The best bun ever and a great homemade pattie!

Awesome vegan Burger - Edit
Placed in the heart of Split, it is a great place to Rest from all the tourists and summer heat. Wenn Trier the vegan Burgers (e.g. Beet and Black Bean) and both were fantastic! Also the homemade potatos and homemade iceteas were awesome. I would really recommend this place for those who dont wont to eat pizza (served at every Corner) and who would like to have an healthy tasty meal! The staff ist btw really nice, too!

Really really good food for very reasonable prices, I am intending on trying everything on the menu before I leave Split. Right in the heart of Diocletians Palace and easy to find. The Beet Burger is incredible and is capable of fixing the worst of hangovers 👍

A must if you are in Split - Edit
Even though it's registered as a vegetarian restaurant, I couldn't find any ingredient/food item/beverage which was not vegan (at least to my knowledge). Even the capuccino is made with soy milk. The beet burger polenta was really delicious from what I have tried so far and the potato chips were just right! The prices are also fair, so definitely worth visiting if you are in Split.
