Local place - Edit
The protein meal was the only meal left when I arrived. They close at 8 so be on time.
Read moreThe meal was very good and big portion. tasty. Normal prices €12 compared to the city center.
Next day I went back and choose a croatian dish with seitan. It was supposed to be spicy but it wasn’t at all. The veggies were bland and some veggies were too hard to chew. The dish was also kinda cold. It came a minute after I ordered. So I wonder how fresh it is. I wanted to order a coffee after the dinner and it was not possible they cleaned it already. It was 19 o’clock. I guess this place is more for lunch cos it’s also empty while I was having dinner.
Most dishes are vegan what I saw but they charge for plant milk.

Tasty little cafe - Edit
I went near closing so only had a few options left. The protein plate was tasty and just what I wanted after a week if struggling to find decent vegan food in Croatia. The girl behind the counter was very friendly and attentive.

Fresh balanced and delicious - Edit
Great for a quick lunch or on the go, the cafe is full of great options with actual protein in meals (seitan, tofu, etc.). I had a wrap (seitan) , a vegan cake , and a chia pudding. Good portions, especially for the price and compared to the rest of Split centre. I came twice to the cafe since it was one of the better options in Split. The full dishes look great as well.

Lovely cafe away from tourist town, really friendly and helpful staff and delicious food. Went for the oyster mushroom tempura, which was great and came with risotto, salad and veg AND home made vegan mayo and bbq sauce. Lots of food that I couldn’t finish!

Delicious veggie options - Edit
The tempeh wraps were so tasty we had 3! They also had tempeh and tofu sandwiches, plant based milk, a vegan dessert and large healthy protein meals with falafel, quinoa and salad. Staff wete incredibly rude still worth visiting even though it's a bit out of the city centre.

Nice place for quick snack - Edit
We were here for breakfast, so we ordered a falafel burrito and a seitan one along with some sweet porridge dish. It was nice, strange to have falafel with ajvar, but thats Croatia.

Fresh, balanced ,and not the usual choices - Edit
This cafe is a wonderful find! The choices range from the usual (falafel) to the more interesting (fried oyster mushroom) entrees. The meals are well balanced with a high protein grain, a couple of salads, a main ingredient, and sauces on the side. All was fresh and delicious. The service for dinner was quick and courteous, with plenty of seating. Overall, a good value.

Vegan and organic heaven - Edit
I love UpCafé. Only a 15 min from the Diocletian Palace, the place has a very nice atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff, and the food is just amazing - you never know what to choose from the menu, because everything looks incredible. I had the tofu and vegetable lasagna and the cherry-mint kombucha today - perfect to keep me going, because even if the lasagna is under the “snacks” menu, it’s a big portion. And you’ll find fairer prices than in the Old Town. Highly recommend it, and looking forward to visiting you again soon!

A true gem in Split! - Edit
I ordered the oyster mushroom meal and it was very tasty. It costs 12€, so not that much comparing to other options in Split. I would definitely come back here!

Absolutely delicious hearty Vegan food. We came here on our last night in Split and was our fav meal of the holiday. I wish we had come here 1st as think we would have come everyday.
Read moreI had the Protein meal and it was so good, I wish I knew how to cook sauces like this.
It was great value for the huge portions, we were so stuffed we had to take desert away.

Best vegan food in Croatia so far! - Edit
A great find in Split! We had the vegan lasagne, falafel wrap, two vegan desserts and iced coffees.
Read moreThe lasagne was amazing, crispy edge and a good portion for a reasonable price! The wrap was good, the falafel fluffy and sauce delicious.
Cakes!!! The sweet potato cake was insane! What a treat! The only downside was not being given the recipe 😂
Iced coffee with soya milk - not an easy find in Croatia.
Pros: Lovely staff - helpful and spoke great English , Amazing food, Good prices

Very tasty meals - Edit
Constantly high quality of food, very tasty and always fresh. Absolutely a place to go whilst visiting Split. But I have a small remark about the service. It seems there is not enough people and waiting time is long during the lunch time. After 20 min I had to go to the counter to be able to order my dine in lunch.

They deserve 5 stars purely for giving tap water with the meal! - Edit
In all seriousness, food was great, tasty and not greasy. The deli is busy with locals, which is a great sign. Prices are reasonable and you don’t get ripped off like in other veggie places in Split. Loved the vegan baiadera as dessert.

Don't miss trying this place! - Edit
Wholesome, chill vibe. Delicious food at reasonable prices. Arrive after 11am if you want an unbelievable choice of fantastic food, like protein rich meals. This is our third visit to Split and I was glad we made the journey back for breakfast. If you don't want cake when you go, get one take away so you don't miss out. Their sweet options are super cool. Highly recommend!

So many options 😍 - Edit
We went there for dinner and weren't disappointed! The staff was friendly and everything was labeled as vegetarian, vegan or gluten free. We drank an ice coffee with oat milk and it was very good. Then we also ate the daily soup, fried oyster mushrooms with vegetable-risotto, a vegan pancake and a vegan strudel. Everything tasted very good and if I would go there again there would be so many more meals that I would like to try out. The wraps, burritos and pancakes there are all between 15 kn (2 €) and 35 kn (4-5 €) which is a reasonable price. The main dishes do all cost 80 kn (10 €) which in my opinion is a bit expensive but the good taste of everything clearly makes up for it!
