The No. 1 Spot in Split 🌱 - Edit
The location is phenomenal, just a ten-second walk from Peristil Square. Inside, the kitchen is adjacent to the small seating area which allows the guests to hear & smell the food the chefs are making, as well as watch to ensure freshness. The food is wonderful! There’s a wide range so everything for everyone, & the staff are very helpful ☺️

Great coffee, healthy food options - Edit
The coffee is so good! Owner told us everything is vegan except for the cows milk for coffee. The food is fine. It's not excellent, but that just might be my taste. It's in a good spot, and there are lots of healthy options.

Great find in Split - Edit
Our Airbnb host told us about this place and it was listed on Happy Cow! Just a 5 mins walk from our place too! The place is small and you can watch them make everything fresh!

Vegan but... - Edit
There we have a vegan restaurant in the old city of split. They offer burgers, bowls and wraps as well. This meals are fresh made but I think that they do need some new inspiration and creations cause some of their menu's are a little bit boring.

Fantastic - Edit
It is really delicious. Everything tasted good (dinner & good coffee). Try the cherry beer by Lindemans. It is so good. It is a small place, but if u come before 8 o'clock u should be fine. Only thing I did not like: they use a lot of aluminum-wrap for the burritos or falafel wraps, also if you order to stay in. I think they should use paper or just nothing. For to go they use plastic boxes. :(

Great place, but busy - Edit
Great veggie fusion cafe in the heart of the old town. Several vegan options, nice friendly staff, free wifi. A good find. We had the beet burger and the tofu sandwich. Not much seating inside so you may have to wait a little, but a good lunch/snack stop.

Disappointing - Edit
We went first day and it was good food...but unfortunately we went back and had a horrible experience. We waited for ages only for the guy to look to the person who just walked in next. They continued to be served etc and we had waited ages. Just walked out. It was ridiculous. Don’t go here if you want to be served. I’ve never written a less than 5 star review on happy cow, but this place sadly deserves a 1 star. Don’t go if you value your time!

Hi Rachel, my name is Neno, I am the owner and the "guy" who served you both times you were at our restaurant, or at least tried to serve you the second time. Honestly I cannot believe your review. Last night our restaurant was packed and it was like that for most of the evening. I was one person short due to illness, so I was basically working the bar by myself. At the time you were in the restaurant we had a group of 15 pax with one extremely large order, plus 5 orders of food for take away. We are a 30 m2 restaurant (kitchen included) and orders exceeded our capacity. However, everyone was willing to wait. I am saying all these things because I have the need to paint the picture for other readers since from your review it seems as if you were the only person in the restaurant and I ignored you on purpose. By the time I was able to take in new orders I honestly had no idea who was next in line and I apparently made a mistake. When I realized that you are angrily leaving I tried to call you but it was obviously too late. As you were standing in the middle of the restaurant and other people were standing in front of the cash register, I assumed it was their turn, I made a mistake and I am sorry for that. But it was a mistake made by a working person that you could have easily corrected just by saying hey mister it is our turn. I am a human being, all of us at the restaurant are human beings, we make mistakes, and because of that one mistake you are here rooting for people not to come to our restaurant. Me and my wife run this restaurant, we have a small baby, this is our livelihood, we work 15 hours shifts and try to do our best but all of that doesn't matter just because you could't say to me last night, hey, you made a mistake, it is my turn to order.

Best place ever! - Edit
Ate here every day we were in Split. We had the falafel bowl, tofu sandwich, salad, tofu/veggies/rice, fries, tiramisu and everything was excellent. Gluten free items are marked and ingredients listed in case you have any food allergies. It can be really crowded but worth the wait!

Good falafel bowl - Edit
BF wasn’t wild about the beet burger (I thought it was pretty good); fries has thyme on them of which I am always a fan. Falafel bowl was good if not amazing; falafels definitely had a “healthy” taste; minimally fried and quite dense. Corn salad in the bowl was great.

A nice stable point for your trip to Split - Edit
Nothing really blew my mind here but defently above average. I do appreciated the variation, me and my friend came back here several times, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly staff and clean place, easy to find. A bit health oriented which most vegan places in Split seemed to be

Healthy veggie food - Edit
Good if you want fresh, healthy food whole food. They also have raw cakes / desserts. They serve fresh young coconuts to drink which was very nice!
Read moreA lot of people rated the friendly service but I didn’t find that to be true. They weren’t rude but they weren’t too fussed about a new customer either. Pretty neutral on the service side of things.
Pros: Healthy, lean food , Quick service, Nice desserts
Cons: Not 100% clear what is vegan and veggie, Okay service but not overly friendly or anything

Dear Kerri, thank you for eating at our bistro and taking the time to write your review. Our staff is polite and always tries to be helpful. We are sorry that you felt that wasn't enough, surely it wasn't our intention. Our whole menu is vegan, we only have cows milk for the coffees, besides soy, almond and coconut and is clearly labeled as cow milk. Also, all items on the menu are marked with V and/or GF label where V stands for vegan and GF stands for gluten free. We have these labels both on our printed menus and menu boards. If you have a suggestion what else we could do to make it more clear pls advise.

Tasty and good value vegan food - Edit
Full vegan menu with a wide range of "world cuisine" dishes. The burrito bowl and hummus plate (amazing bread!) were really fresh, healthy and scrumptious. The portion size was just right. Good selection of craft beers etc. The ginger shot is epic😉The only (tiny) downside for me personally was the fact that all cakes were raw (which I tend to avoid because they might be too rich). The interiour has more of an alternative bar vibe, so not a sit-down restaurant for large groups.

The only place I’ve found soya milk in Croatia!! - Edit
Great little place in the old town. It’s the only fully vegan place I’ve seen in split AND the only place I’ve found which has a variety of milk (soya, almond & coconut). Super friendly guy behind the counter with excellent English. Food was really nice, not expensive, will definitely go back!

Great veggie food in Split - Edit
This place was right next to our hotel, and proved to be some of the nicest vegetarian food we’ve had anywhere in the world. We watched everything being made fresh from scratch, and it was all delicious - I had a veggie stew/curry, while my wife had a falafel wrap. The deserts were to die for, and the wine and hot drinks were great too. Already planning to go back tomorrow to try the black bean burgers that we saw others having! Highly recommended.

Bit pricey for the quality of food. The lemonade is too literal - Edit
The food was ok, we were 4 and 2 of us weren’t so happy with the taste, was not too exciting. The lemonade was lukewarm water and squished lemon, nothing else, quite boring.
