Excellent! - Edit
Wonderful food, creative dishes, delectable flavours. Drinks menu includes non-alcoholic options (only two mocktail choices). Both of the small plates I had were excellent - beetroot/sweet-potato tortelloni and butternut dahi puri. The ginger sticky toffee pudding dessert with toffee ice cream is incredibly delicious, although it was too rich a finish for my meal of two of the small plates and the rich coconut-milk-based mocktail. The menu is full of interesting items I’d like to try.

Come ASAP - Edit
So unbelievably good. Tiramisu french toast was “best tiramisu I’ve ever had” according to my partner who is a tiramisu fanatic. The cream was insane (aquafaba?) and the espresso sauce was divine.
Read moreFull english was perfectly seasoned. Mushrooms were awesome—tasted like sausage. Beans were awesome. Bread was unbelievable. Best vegan English I’ve had (although I have not had too many).
But for the price (£20)….. given Spoons is £6.50 and not 66% worse than this I might find it hard to come back here and eat it again.
Our server was lovely too! I don’t know his name but he was very kind and helpful.
I will come back and try sausage bun and mushroom brioche! And their lunch and dinner😄

Best english breakfast so far - Edit
This english breakfast sett benchmark very high. It is pricy but worth every pound. It was enough for two persons if you are not that hungry. Absolut worth to visit in a very central place in London. The atmosphere and the service were great too.

Lovely vegan brunch - Edit
Enjoyed a lovely vegan brunch here with some friends. When in London, go for a full English (and this one did not disappoint). A very generous portion, perfectly seasoned and clearly prepared with care. My (non vegan) friends ordered the sausage bun, which they really enjoyed as well. We shared a pistachio French toast for dessert, and it was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended for a cosy vegan brunch in London!

High-quality & high-end - Edit
High-quality and high-end food for special occasions. Would be the perfect place for a date, birthday, anniversary, etc. Nice relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.
Read moreWe had the market menu lunch (min. 2 pers., £38 pp.), which included three courses. The highlight was the bitter leaf salad and mushroom ravioli, which was the best ravioli I’ve ever had, better even than any non-vegan ravioli I’ve had in Italy. Very good value for three courses of gourmet food for the price.
For dessert we had the chocolate rosmary tart and ginger sticky toffee. Both were good, though I don’t think you could taste either rosemary or ginger, and the cherry compote was unnecessarily sweet with the already sweet tart.
Going back I’d order the bitter leaf salad and musroom ravioli à la carte.

Fancy! - Edit
A cute, cosy place. The French toast options for brunch were creative and it was difficult to choose which one to get, but I went with the Tiramisu. The mousse got a little sweet toward the end, but overall I quite enjoyed it. Some of the menu items were on the more expensive side, but I think the French toasts were good value for money.

Great choices, helpful staff, nice setting - Edit
Went to Mallow last night for the second time and really enjoyed it again. My partner has recently been advised to avoid gluten and they were very helpful talking us through the menu, which is marked well anyway, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout.
Read moreWe shared everything and ate ajvar and rye bread, padron peppers, spiced carrot beetroot and herbs, chips and pilau. All fantastic (though actually my homemade chips might just be better than theirs😄) with a range of strong but balanced flavours and generous portions.
And then - a pistachio tres leches cake, which was one of my favourite ever puddings. So luxurious but well balanced too.
It's not the cheapest meal you'll find, but the cooking and menu choices are great and it's a lovely place to have a special dinner.

Amazing creative food - Edit
I've been only once and ordered only 3 small plates so I can't comment on the whole (surprisingly large) menu. But the mushroom croquettes and the pea and mint tortelloni were fabulous, as well as the "humble" fried padron peppers with tahini. I had nibbled something a couple of hours before so I was too full to have anything else. That's a shame because all available options are very appealing. I need to visit again...

Our new favourite in London - Edit
As Mildred's is our usual port of call when in London but we were attending the Young Vic, we decided to try Mallow. We were delighted with the entire visit, from the location and warm welcome, to the friendly, helpful service from Kat, the relaxed ambience, and the delicious food and drink. My companion pronounced the food to be even better than Mildred's.
