This location is absolutely amazing. The tiramisu pancakes are delicious, English breakfast very tasty and the bloody marry just hits the spot. 100% recommendation!

A Vegan Institution - Edit
First up, it is worth mentioning this location is adjacent to Southwark Cathedral - whatever old building it is established in, it is a gorgeous and airy setting to dine in. Particularly with an upstairs seat, and the big windows, looking out into this niche of London is delightful!
Read moreThe food here is excellent and the service staff are very friendly and chatty! The big breakfast was everything you'd hope for in something typically British, and the other dishes were great too. Coffee and drinks here were nice, including the mocktails.
Fairly gluten-free friendly. Little expensive, but quality and portions were fair at least.
Well worth the experience! Big ol' recommendation from us!!
Side note: They advertise as being (some of) the people who established Mildred's, another Vegan franchise in London. The food is certainly not dissimilar, but I would say Mallow probably edges out Mildred's for quality and flavour - and that is not to say the latter is bad at all, but a testament to the food at Mallow.

Food and service 5 stars. The market menu dinner offers a varied and generous selection of their dishes. Everything is delicious, and even hearty appetites will be satisfied. Only downside is the cleanliness of the interior - the furnishing is a little dingy and could use a thorough cleaning.

MUST get the truffles - Edit
ordered the aubergine and the oyster mushroom skewers and split with my partner. The aubergine wasn't anything special, but the skewer was great! lots of left over sauce from both, so we ordered sourdough to dip and that was the best part of the meal. based on our experience and the other things we saw around the room, if we had to do it again we would do the pepper skewer (only 4£!), sourdough, and small dishes - the portion sizes looked the same and were way less expensive.

Our server Bianca was so wonderful!! We had great coffees and got the mango French toast and tiramisu pancakes! Not many people there when we went. Great location. Bathrooms were nice. Food came quickly.

We were welcomed extraordinary kindly and liked the place from the first minute. The menu offers very interesting dishes - I tried the oyster mushroom skewers. That small dish came with a lot of taste, but had a proud price: 19.5 £ for I think 4 mushrooms, 1 onion and a cucumber salad.

The service is a little slow and some servers are happier than others. But otherwise, the food is delicious!

This place has a very cute atmosphere and every dish was so delicious. We got two entrees each to have something both sweet and savory and it was all perfect. The tiramisu pancakes were creative and the full English breakfast was just classic. Very attentive and kind staff too!

Great stop and location in Borough which is not far from London Bridge. All vegan.

I visited Mallow at Borough Market to celebrate my birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. We shared the pita, hummus, charred leek bharta, mojo rojo croquettes, and Mallow Chick n Burger. Everything was great, but the hummus and mojo rojo croquettes were the highlights!

Overall, a wonderful experience with delicious plant-based food and excellent service. It’s now at the top of my list of favorite vegan restaurants in London. Highly recommend!

Lovely Dinner Celebration - Edit
The restaurant is beautiful and the staff are lovely. We have been here a couple times and the Truffle lasagna is always a hit! This time we were celebrating a birthday and our server Kat brought us some delicious chocolate cake. She always made sure we were taken care of and really made the night special.
