1stly re the directions from the other reviewers, my understanding is that same as the person who suggests this place is on the left.
This place isn't 100% vegetarian. I find though when I walk past I usually unable to stop myself from looking and buying one or two vegan things.
Regrettably most of the pre packed meals they offer are MTR brand (nothing to do with HK mass transit rail) and contain milk. I'd personally prefer if they sourced brands that were dairy free. If that point was tackled my rating would ramp right up.
Its quite inexpensive in here.

Not a big store, but has got the essentials, good if you want to load up on spices and dal. You will have to be able to distinguish the beans by their looks though because they are not labeled.
P.S. Store is on the left not the right after you walk up the stairs, in any case you will see it ;)

Run by three generations of a Sikh family - very friendly & helpful people.
Psyllium Husk / Sat Isabgol usually in stock at very low prices.
Fine selection of pickles & chutneys & dried beans / dahls.
As you enter the main entrance Chung King Mansions from Nathan Rd walk straight ahead - through the money changers & the 'hotel touts' - walk up the stairs just behind where the security staff are standing idly - Maharaja is just at the top of the stairs to your right!
