Delicious Vegan Food - Edit
I frequent here regularly and am always happy with the quality of the food. The man who owns it is always cooking and working hard and will refill any options that are empty. The curry, rice and chips are my favourite options and all the food is so flavoursome. Also a bonus that it’s so reasonably priced!

Yum but lacking - Edit
I hadn’t been to Loving Hut for probably a couple of years and felt it’d gone down hill sadly. Not much choice and it was clear the salad hadn’t been filled up that day and the only offering was lettuce. The fake meat was also limited and the quality (brand?) has definitely changed. The guy there works hard and I commented about lack of choice and he said it’s been busy but perhaps on a Saturday lunchtime some extra help might be a good idea. The food was greasier than I remember - certainly not healthy (and I don’t expect this) as a review on here says!! I hope things improve again.

The best vegan food in Norwich and excellent value for money - Edit
The food here is delicious, that's the #1 thing I want you to take away (no pun intended) from this review.
Read more#2 is that the people are really friendly and work very hard to keep the buffet stocked up all day, always putting out hot and fresh food every time I walk in (those containers empty quickly, especially when we go!!)
#3 is the price, it's excellent value for money not just because the price is low, but because it's delicious. The stir fries, the curry, the chips, the rice, it's all amazing and the salad is fresh. When I have a Loving Hut craving it's the only thing I want to eat!
#4 Knowing that I can eat anything on the menu without worrying about animal products is the best of many good things about it. My whole family loves it, we have a tradition where we all go and get huge boxes each and go eat it outside together like a picnic and I have many fond memories of this.
I'll always support this 100% vegan business. Decades of expertise and love can be tasted in the food.
Thanks Loving Hut!
Pros: Tasty and perfectly cooked , Great price to portion size ratio, Lovely staff

delicious and unassuming - Edit
fill your own takeaway box style buffet, £5 for regular box £6 for a large. I got a regular and managed to fit so much in anyway. there's not a huge amount of options but what they had was DELICIOUS, there were various stir fries (I think broccoli and beef and a sweet and sour), a delicious chickpea curry, my favourite which seemed to be a roast carrot and fake meat in a slightly sweet sauce, and fried rice/chips/plain chow mein noodles and a little salad section. I will be back and I will actually ask what each dish was next time. The fake meat was so good and succulent that if it wasn't a vegan place I would have flagged and asked!
Read morePros: really good value, very good fake meat, very tasty food
Cons: not huge variety, food not labelled (but can ask chef)

Delicious comfort food - Edit
Great value at £6 for a large box. Dishes made fresh and topped up regularly. Not a massive selection but enough to be satisfied. Would definitely return. Limited seating, a few more seats so people can opt to sit in would be great.

Great find - Edit
This place is super affordable with a regular box for £5 and a large box for £6. The food is delicious and tastes fresh and healthy. There could be a little more vegan meat/tofu in some of the dishes but all very delicious. On some days there can be less dishes to choose from

Cons: Lack of fake meat/tofu in some dishes, Not a huge selection

£6.00 for a reasonably sized takeaway box had a stir fry sweet and sour and a curry. I had the stir fry sweet and sour with noodles and chips all delicious and freshly cooked, as I got there as the doors opened. I've never been before and definitely will be going again on my next visit to Norwich. I'm so glad to have found this little gem.

Good value - Edit
This is the only UK Loving Hut I'd never visited so was quite nostalgic for me. In honesty, only being in Norwich for 2 nights, had the vegan restaurants which had closed down in the last couple of months still been open, I might not have gone here.
Read moreI can't complain about the value for a large box of food I know is all vegan for £6. With chips, rice, noodles and veg, there wasn't much protein though and I had to pick out the few bits of faux meat I could see in the two trays which had any.
I hadn't realised it was going to be so small, and was disappointed it wasn't as big as the cafe style Loving Huts I've been to, where I could order meals. There were a couple of stools though, so at least didn't need to back out in the rain to eat.

Great Food - Edit
Haven’t been to this Loving Hut for years so was great to be back. Such incredibly good value - £6 for a large box which fits so much in. Quite a big selection of noodles, rice, chips, onion rings, tofu and a couple of veg dishes. Served quickly. There are a few places to sit in and eat. Delicious.

First went here when I was at School , still delicious. Their large take away boxes are only £6 and you can fill them with as much as you like. Simple but tasty food. They have a curry, a sweet and sour and a stir fry. There's noodles and rice and really tasty chips.

Food Looked Awful - Edit
Went to eat here in Summer 2022 and thought the place was unclean, with a limited array of not particularly nice looking food on offer - plus, nowhere to sit! Surprised it was rated so highly but maybe we caught them on a bad day

I love this place, it's cheap but that doesn't effect the quality of the food. On a nice day grab your bowl and head to the Castle Gardens to people watch.

Good lunchtime buffet - Edit
It’s a pretty small selection but the takeaway buffet was v reasonably priced. Not really any seats to sit down but there’s a park nearby if the weather is nice. The curry and stir fry were nice if basic.
