Love this place!

Great way to try vegan dishes highly recommend the black pepper chicken and the pork bbq ribs! The office rice is also a great way to try different ‘meats’ that they serve. Bun Cha is good! Haven’t found any other vegan places offering it yet. Staff are really lovely and love all the vegan celeb posters.

Pros: All vegan, Lovely staff , Tasty and cheap

Darn!

First, the good: I love the sleepy street the restaurant is on. It is in a quiet neighborhood and it is spacious compared to other vegan and vegetarian restaurants in Hanoi. The menu is pretty good too: they have mock meats like chicken and beef.

The bad: I witnessed the bad attitudes of the wait staff mentioned in another review. The restaurant was kind of busy, but the wait staff seemed to be very overwhelmed (so I tried not to hold it against them). But, then they got my order completely wrong. Every item I ordered (even the drink). I could not ask them to fix it because I would have been late for an interview. Asking for my check seemed to be a huge inconvenience to them. I will not return.

The only reason I am giving two stars is this adorable little boy (must have been the son of one of the employees) decided to join me by sitting at my table. I gave him my fries (since I didn't order them) and he was just elated to join me. Maybe you will have the opportunity to dine with him too!

Terrable, not recommended

The staff is unkind, it is totally chaotic. The locals were allowed to order her food, we got a "finished buffet". It was not tasted and was cold. Actually, we love Loving Huts, but this place did not deserve the name. we went thirsty and hungry

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Unkind / rude staff, Cold food, For foreigner buffet only?

Amazing place great service and great food!

The food here is unreal had the pork ribs, and other multiple
Dishes but the ribs were the best thing. The staff were super friendly and spoke not much English but accommodated to the best of their ability and was great. Spent 200k between both of us.

Highly recommend coming here if you’re in the area!

Pros: Very delicious , Great price , Great staff

So friggen good!

I was skeptical as the reviews aren't great. But this place was AMAzzzing. I had the chicken and corn soup and the beef salad. Both so delicious friendly service. Super busy which is a good sign! Prices are so good and they have a big upstairs area with more tables. They also have a buffet which most locals were eating. My partner got the sweet and sour pork ribs and omg they are a must try! Super amazing.

Bad service

The food is tasty but the service is unexpectedly sooo bad. When I ask for fresh chilli, the staff just impolitely replied that I should go and get one, and didnt tell me where. We came here another time because the food is good and the place is near my house. This time, we had to self-serve, got the menu, wrote the orders ourselves; then waited til the staff appeared and gave it to her. The food came out and if you want anything more like chilli or sauce or a bowl, you have to go and get it yourself.

Overrated

The impression that I remembered about this eatery are the unfriendly staff and bad command of English. I repeated myself a few times, and they still do not understand. Moreover, the food is seriously overrated and I felt the standard among other international branches are not consistent at all. It is also hard to find this place, thus I would not recommend anyone to go because there are much better plant based food in Hanoi.

Lastly, I find something really strange and weird. They always have this placard with unusual capitalization, "These Smart, Beautiful, Talented People are Vegan and Vegetarian. Why aren't you?" It seemed like an odd question to pose in a restaurant where people had come specifically to eat vegan food.

Cons: Oily Food, Mock Meat, Unfriendly Staff

I love this place!

This loving hut is excellent! The service is friendly and prompt. I usually order the com suat (office rice set) and it's a great portion of food for a very cheap price. Their soups are also very good.

Loving hut style

Dined here today for lunch. Busy place and service was good. Please let them know when ordering you like all ur order to come together not in dribs and drabs. I had 2 fresh spring rolls, mixed vegetables (braised chinese cabbage with carrots), fried noodles with vegetables (noodles boiled with onions, carrots, a few shitakes, greens and processed soy looks like gluten which i left), was a bit salty for me. Finished with fresh lemon juice was great. Bill came to under 90.000 around $4. I noticed they served the regular com suat 20.000d $1.

Pros: 100% vegan, Menu in English staff spk English., Busy has upstairs dining also

Quiet location, friendly staff, nice food

This is a loving hut restaurant. The food is cheap, diverse (several sizes of co'm suat available for example) and alright - with good mock meats. On the downside there is often the TV on with the same program with people apparently discussing how great it is to be vegan.
The restaurant is on a calm and nice little street, lot of green plants, few vehicles.
Some people in the staff speak english, and they are all quite friendly.

Pros: Location, Price, good mock meats

Cons: TV on
