Great Vegan and Vegetarian Option - Edit
During our stay in Santa Fe, we visited LYC twice. We were able to order delicious vegan food and took some vegan burritos for the road trip back home to Colorado Springs. Really wish this place was closer to us.

Fully Vegetarian & GF Cafe - Edit
They are fully vegetarian & gluten-free. Would give 5 stars if I could! Many vegan options, so healthy and satisfying. I got the power bowl without cheese and a coconut milk matcha latte! Can’t wait to go back :)

Food is just okay. - Edit
I wanted matcha green tea latte with soy milk but they only had almond milk. Almond milk was so thick and gritty. Sent drink back.

Really good! - Edit
We got the collard green burrito with green chile and the veggie curry and both were yummy! This place is on the pricier side, but it’s nice to have healthy options

Going downhill - Edit
I'm beginning to wonder why Love Yourself Cafe is even listed on Happy Cow any longer. More and more unhealthy animal products are showing up on the menu. There are many better vegan and vegetarian options in town!

Best ingredients - Edit
This is an awesome cafe’ in an odd “mall” location. However, once inside it is an oasis. Many vegan choices but best to make sure as many things are merely vegetarian. Lovely person working there, unusual healthy versions of familiar dishes. Delicious.

Very Expensive but good for you food. - Edit
The Vegan bowl I bought was 13.00 plus tax and a tip. So 17.00 for a bowl of pinto beans, quinoa, Cucumbers and almonds. I went to pour the pepper and the whole thing of pepper fell in my food. The kitchen just took out the food that had pepper. They took all the almonds and the avocado and did not replace it. That is way too much money for me.

Excellent Vegetarian Cafe - Edit
We enjoyed this cafe a lot - I ate there a total of 3 times in a four-day visit to Santa Fe. There are vegan options, they are accommodating, and the staff is very pleasant and helpful in explaining what is in the food. The food is made with a health-conscious attitude, and has pure and healthy ingredients. Some of their options reflect a particular view of what "healthy food" means, but whether you are gluten-free or paleo or whatever the latest trend is, I think you'll find something to satisfy you. I enjoyed the poached eggs one time, the asparagus omelette is super (a different time), and I had a spinach salad a third time. My spouse had the waffle on our last visit, and I just tasted it (as yummy as the whipped cream and maple syrup are, they are not what I should be eating) and it was crisp and delicious. And in addition to eating there three times, I took out the spaghetti squash with mushroom-quinoa meatballs, and this was a very filling and tasty dish. My spouse also thought the coffee was excellent.

I guess it's good for non-vegans? - Edit
I've been here 3 times and none have been satisfying and today's visit was the worst. I live in town and feel terrible not being a fan but after today I cannot hold back anymore. While technically a vegetarian restaurant (some of their exilers are not - Shangbai Mountain ant & Red Deer Antler), they are not vegan friendly either in service or menu. The menu does not contain the word vegan at all which then forces you to inquire with the wait staff who instantly get weird and uncomfortable. With eggs, cheese and ghee in nearly every item it's really hard to figure out what's what. Today I went with a friend to try a dessert - walked up to the counter and asked what's vegan and was told "nothing", then was told "oh, this $8 chocolate avocado tort is but nothing else". So against my better judgement I ordered the tort for my friend and I and it was inedible - slightly sour and rancid. We both agreed. I didn't want to make a scene and in fact tried to pay for it but they refused and apologized. Call me wacky, but I expect vegetarian restaurants to be at least as vegan friendly as regular restaurants. Love Yourself Cafe loves their eggs, cheese and ghee better than they love their vegan customers. I hope they can figure things out so I can update this review to a positive recommendation.
