Little Cozy Crêpe Heaven - Edit
I had long anticipated my visit to "Let It Be", and my high hopes were certainly not disappointed.
Read moreIt took me quite a while to choose what to order (as they have a wide variety of options and all of them are vegan and sound delicious), but I finally settled on the "Woody Harrelson", a savoury crêpe filled with "cheese", "bacon", "cream", and leek. It came with a small side salad (topped with an awesome vinaigrette), and my GOODness was it nice! To me, it tasted like I'd imagine the omni-alternative to taste, but better. Wow.
Additionally, I really liked the interior. It was warm and cozy, with plenty of seats and nice decoration.
I wish I could go there more often, but sadly, I'm hardly ever in Berlin. Nevertheless, I'd like to vicariously live through you, dear person reading this, so please: go there and treat yourself for me, will you? ;)

'There will be an answer, Let it be' - Edit
Although I had not heard of Erykah Badult my association with her name started on a positive note, Sweet Potato, Fresh Spinach, Saté-Coconut-Peanut-sauce Crepe (named after) was perfect... Side salad and sweet potato chips were good to, and very filling. The eclectic music and charm of the guy running the show all make this - a go to place. - There will be an answer, Let it be!

Good food, but problems with service - Edit
I went here based on the recommendations that I read here. Unfortunately things did not turn out so well; I ordered a burger with potato wedges and a bottle of beer. After 20 minutes there was still no sign of beer, and the people at the neighbouring tables who arrived later than me had got their drinks. I told the waiter, and it then took another 5 minutes for me to be served my drink. After another 20 minutes I had still not been served my food - while the people at a neighbouring table who arrived later than me had already been served. The waiter then offered me potato wedges on the side - apparently he had forgotten that I had ordered that. After a while I was offered another beer on the house; this was kind enough but I would rather have had something to eat at this point. It took me a total of 50 minutes to get the food that I ordered. In my opinion, this is too long.
Read moreWhen I went up to the counter to pay my bill, I overheard the waiter tell a customer that it would take about an hour for food to be ready!
The waiter told me that tonight was his first day on the job; this of course goes some way towards explaining what happened and I would expect the management to do more to help their new employees get a good start. Still, this was not at all the experience that I had hoped for.
And the food? It was quite good when it finally arrived.
Pros: Good food
Cons: Dodgy service, Only for the very patient

Great Value - Edit
I had the Erykah Badu savory galette.
Read moreThe galette was yummy, and although it didn't seem like it, it was very rich and copious.
Unfortunately, on the day I visited they did not have any desserts.
The staff was polite; but not as friendly as in other places.
I would come back again to try other stuff.
Pros: vegan galettes, good value
Cons: none

NEED to check this out - Edit
I've been taking all of my omni-friends here lately and all of them love it - by now they always ask me to go there again! :)
Read moreTheir crepes are amazing (I prefer them as galette tbh), you have to try the one with 'sour cream and bacon'. Burgers were nice as well, Fries are a little salty and Mac n Cheese was alright. They have gluten free options as well and offer a lot of food (!) for pretty reasonable prices.
Will always be coming back here, definitely one of the top three spots in Berlin.
Pros: huge portions, much variety, cheap
Cons: slow service

Najlepszy burger - Edit
Pyszne burgery. Niech Was nie zmyli ich wielkość - ja pochłaniam ogromne porcje, a nimi naprawdę można się dobrze najeść. Choć ciasta też wypada spróbować! Świetny wystrój. Miejsce małe, ale bardzo przyjemne. Polecam!

Vegan Crêpes! - Edit
It was so pleasant to find a place serving real and good vegan crêpes! I used to love that kind of food but didn't find decent vegan options elsewhere. The ham-cream crêpe is so much good! The portions are generous, and the chocolate crêpe is also very tasty. I liked so much the place that I came back twice. Definitely among my favorite places in Berlin. Prices are fair relative to quantity. The staff is friendly and they have good beers!

The junk-food style dishes are quite good, but far from amazing. Service was exceptionally cold and uncaring. No tap water available. Filter coffee.

Nice restaurant BUT - Edit
My friends and me had a very nice time at this restaurant. For Berlin it is very expensive. The food tastes quite good, but is not really worth the price in my opinion. The atmosphere is very cozy and nice, we enjoyed our stay, nevertheless. It is great that you get a 7% discount if you are a member of the VeBu.

So so good! - Edit
Loved it! My boyfriend and I shared a burger with extra cheese and fries, and then ordered a sweet crêpe with whipped cream. The food was great, and arrived rather quickly even though the restaurant was full. The place is really cozy, and there's even a shelf with cook books and magazines to keep you busy while waiting. There are also some toys for children, and we saw a couple of families with small kids eating there. The staff is friendly and helpful. Def will go there again.

Amazing! - Edit
Cute, little restaurant. Very nicely decorated. Nice choice of sweet and savoury crêpes and burgers. I tried a savoury crepe and it was very big, tasty and filling. The best part of the meal however was a bowl of mac and cheese, DELICIOUS.

Delicious crepes - Edit
Well, visiting Berlin that has so many Vegan options, picking places to visit on my trip was always going to be difficult! I'm so glad I chose Let It Be. I think it was actually my favourite place in Berlin.
Read moreI really liked the menu and thought the prices were very reasonable. I had difficulty choosing and the staff were happy to go through things with me and recommend dishes according to what I like. I opted for a mac n cheeze and a cheeze crepe. I could not finish them the portions, especially the crepe, were huge.
I was only in Berlin a few days but would've loved to have made a return journey for dessert which looked really delicious too.
Pros: All Vegan, Delicious food at good value prices, Friendly staff

Really Good Food, Really Great Atmosphere - Edit
I went here twice.
Read moreThe first time, it was for dessert - a Ian Mackaye crepe and a glass of white wine. It was delicious, sweet-but-not-too-sweet (the crepe) and still warm and there was good music inside and great lighting outside and a warm and inviting atmosphere with friendly staff and great art and all the good stuff.
The second time I visited I came back for dinner because on my dessert trip other people's plates looked really good. I tried the Omar Rodriguez-Lopez burger. The good: the flavor(s). It tasted great - it was a little spicy a little creamy, there were jalapeños and some spicy sour cream and a spicy aioli/mayo - all really good. The flavor of the black bean patty was also really good. The not-so-good: the texture of the patty and the density of the bun. Overall it was good and the burger got an A+ for flavor but the texture of both the patty and the bun left me a bit disappointed :(
Pros: great crepes, nice vibe, friendly staff

Go there, support them - Edit
Such a friendly place, really! And how inviting!
Read moreThey mainly do crepes and burgers, but there are sandwiches, salads, fries, cakes and whatnot as well.
I have been there twice so far - the burgers are very good, but the sandwich (Joan Jett) is absolutely amazing! Probably not the best one I have ever eaten, but surely the best one this year.
The staff make a great effort to run Let It Be as well as possible. The charming and tasteful interior and the good service are Let It Be's trademark. It's a joy to be there to put it simple.
Due to something that appears to be a space for small children, it's probably safe to say they are children-friendly.
Go there, bring your money, you'll get awesome food in return. If Let It Be is not worthy of support, no one is.
Coffee and WiFi speed stand the test as well.

Sadly Disappointing - Edit
I have been looking forward to visiting Let it Be and trying their vegan crepes and pancakes for ages. Sadly my first experience there was underwhelming to say the least. Firstly the guy on duty seemed quite anxious and stressed and yelled at us for trying to move two tables together so we could fit. A simple, calm explanation of why it wasn't possible would have sufficed. Secondly, the pancakes were undercooked and doughy to the point I had to leave them and let my boyfriend (who eats anything) finish them off. We also had some crepes with vegan chocolate spread which were ok, a little dry but a huge portion. For the price the size of the portions are great but as someone who lived in North America for a long time, eating pancakes became a ritual there and these were just not up to scratch and not even as good as what my boyfriend cooks for me at home. Sadly, very disappointed after all the other good reviews. I might give it a second go in case it was just a bad day or a different chef but won't be running back there in a hurry.

vegan crepes!!!! - Edit
Ah, let it be... I lived in this part of Berlin last summer and came here for brunch nearly every weekend. The Daryl Hannah is unreal (with the Erykah Badu as a close second). The Ayinger beer is fantastic-- especially the weißbier. The decor is very cute and it's a really pleasant place to hang out. This is the restaurant I miss the most from Berlin!
