Chocolate mousse the stand out

Vegan versions of French food, we got the artichoke creme, onion soup, beef bouguignon and mousse.

The artichoke creme was served with bread, it was definitely good but not amazing.

We really liked the onion soup, the cheese on top was tasty

The beef bouguingnon had amazing seitan beef, we were really impressed. The dish overall was good but again nothing amazing, but I don't think that's a reflection of the restaurant, I think it's just a simple sort of meal in general

The mousse was DELICIOUS. The best vegan mousse I've had in 8 years. The texture and flavour, wow. Definitely get the mousse

The staff were friendly too

Great French food!

Went there with my friend and had three course meal
Everything was delicious and we even shared a bottle of wine with it

It's rare to find a restaurant with French cuisine that is fully vegan so this was appreciated

Only "odd" thing is that even though we ordered a bottle of wine it came without a label and already opened which I think threw my French friend off a bit - still delicious 🍷

An excellent vegan french restaurant

I went to this place two times during my trip in Paris and I liked It very much. I had the chance to try some typical dish in a vegan way. Also, the waiter is very lovely and you feel good during the dinner.

Tasty, interesting food

We had the onion soup, artichoke cream, crepe, seitan stew and creme brulle. Staff were friendly and service was quick. It was busy (we went on a Sunday) and booked in advance via phone call.
Twists on the classic e.g the creme brulle has apricots in it. Lovely decor and ambiance, we enjoyed it here.

Vegan French Cuisine

Very nice that they do vegan French classics! Had the crepe and another dish, both were amazing. So well balanced from a nutrition perspective and lots gluten free.
Does have soup of the day but no plat du jour. One of the more expensive options.

Pros: Well balanced nutritional value, Amazing taste, Lot glutenfree

Endlich...

Pros: Authentisches Essen, Freundlicher Service, Stimmige Einrichtung

Vegan French experience

If you’re looking for vegan versions of some of the French classics, this is the place to visit!
To book we emailed and they got back in touch with us the same day.
To start we got the potato with olive tapenade - we were expecting just a small potato but were surprised when it arrived! The tapenade was perfectly salty and went really well with the potato, walnuts and the pesto.
For mains we had to get the seitan bourguignon because it looked amazing from the pictures. It didn’t disappoint!! The seitan was so meaty and soft in the sauce - which was incredible!! It came with a fondant, pave potato. It was crispy, soft and creamy all at the same time. It went perfectly with the stew.
My partner got the seitan roast with pepper sauce. This was also incredible!!
The seitan was stuffed a different texture of seitan, bread crumbs and onion. It came with a side of the pave potatoes, ratatouille and pepper sauce. It was really delicious, although it felt like the ratatouille didn’t quite fit the rest of the meal - it was tasty though!
For dessert we got the apricot crème brûlée. The top was crispy and sweet and complimented the cream. The touch of apricot worked well, made the dessert feel less sickly.
The staff were very lovely and helpful!

Pros: Stunning seitan stew and roast, Crème brûlée , Lovely staff

We liked it!

We went last Sunday evening. It was busy with a nice buzz. Service was courteous but not overly friendly. We enjoyed the food. Would probably go back next time in Paris.

Pros: 100% vegan, Good food

Welcoming staff, good food

Good hearty food.
Slightly bland for my taste though.

Had the suggested soup and dish of the day.

Would go there again to try other dishes as they all looked great.

Great place!

Delicious food and friendly staff! Would have loved to try more of their dishes. We had the mixed drips and crepe and both were fantastic. If a Friday/ weekend night be sure to book.

top level

I was there from the very first years, and after all this time, you're maintaining the level (it's even infinitely better than when you started), so well done!

Pros: food, staff, location

Cons: a bit expensive but well worth it

This is a lovely restaurant serving traditional French dishes with a vegan twist. Think hearty stews and seitan steaks. Would definitely recommend

we don't get the hype, bland food

Perhaps our expectations were too high, because of all the raving reviews, but we were really underwhelmed with the food. We got the seitan stew with gratin potatoes, and a large salad. The seitan texture was really good, but lacked taste, just as the potatoes. We were not alone in this. Everyone around us was asking the staff for salt and pepper to add to their food. Some vegetables would have been nice though. The salad was uninspiring.
Although the deserts looked good on paper, we saw hesitation and critique on the table next to us, and we didn't dare to order a desert.
The interior was okay but average.
Would not really recommend, there are a lot better choices to eat during your holiday in Paris.

Vegan French cuisine 😍

Loved everything that I ate at this cute and cosy restaurant! The portions are quite generous and didn't leave me enough space for dessert. I definitely need to go back to try their crème brûlée which looked delicious!

Many times there, but prima in 2011, before they turn full veganism. Always reserve ahead, very Marais busy spot.

Pros: Full vegan since forever... À la French mode..., Memorable first visit in summer 2011!! , Very recommended by Gertrude Stein and Alice B. To

Good Vegan French

The French onion soup is as good as everyone says. The pate sampler appetizer was also very good. Smoked tofu salad (with potatoes and walnuts) was very tasty.

Well worth making a reservation

We made a reservation a few weeks ahead of visiting and were not disappointed. Soup de l’oignon, seitan bourguignon and crème brûlée were all delicious. Super friendly staff who were very helpful with making recommendations.
