I appreciate any business that has vegan options. - Edit

I appreciate what they're doing but seldom are the options actually vegan. I'm wary of the vegan cupcake. I suspect they used white sugars and flours that are filtered through animal bones. The bright white frosting leads me to believe they use shortening. So, I think a better description is dairy/egg free instead of vegan.

My kids will eat the cupcake and take off the hard frosting blob. They like the cake, not the frosting. it tastes like pure shortening.

Pros: Dairy free option!

Cons: Probably not actually vegan.

Doesn't taste like food - Edit

I'm not sure how to explain the vegan cupcake. There was one flavor available with two frosting flavors - strawberry or vanilla. As you can see in the pic, the cupcake is black, and my guess is that there's more dye than chocolate. It absolutely does not taste anything close to chocolate. It was the oddest tasting thing. My daughter calls it the "chem cake" because it tastes like chemicals. We got 1/2 dozen, and couldn't make it through one each. I read the review below talking about the sugar and moistness. I thought, "how could a moist cupcake be a negative?". Well, it is. The consistency is so wet that you can't get it separated from the wrapper. You literally have to scrape the paper with your teeth or you'll waste half the cake. At $2.70 a piece, that can't happen. We had to go outside to eat because it's so messy, and a good amount ended up on the ground. Completely crumbles apart due to no binding ingredient (eggs). It was a distaster. The sugar overload didn't bother us so much, as we were too sidetracked with the taste(lessness) to worry about it. I love that they're trying. I hope they improve it.

Pros: Vegan option, Location

Cons: Taste, taste, taste, Steep prices, Taste

Too sweet - Edit

So after reading reviews here I decided to try their vegan cupcake and I thought that the cupcake was too moist and the icing was way too sweet. I'm not usually that picky but sometimes a fair amount of sugar goes a long way,

Pros: vegan option, accessible location

Cons: too sweet, only one vegan option

Delicious Cupcakes - Edit

Yummy cupcakes, and there's always a vegan or gluten free option available. Only downside is it's usually only one flavor. However, the chocolate vegan one I had was delicious!

Pros: vegan and gluten free options, delicious and flavorful, kind staff

Cons: not enough vegan alternatives
