delicious little gem - Edit
Fantastic stall at the Cadiz market. Food is so good and cheap, we took some to take away for later in addition to the lunch we had there. The lady is super friendly and shared her recipes with us. We had tortilla, broccoli pie, ensalada rusa, seitan bits, salmorejo and chocolate raspberry cake... All tasted mega 'real'! Will be back.

Not 100% vegan but I was happy to find traditional food like tortilla and meatballs, it was all really tasty! Maybe the tortilla could‘ve been a bit more moist and the staff a bit more polite but I would definitely go back to try the rest of the menu! Lovely views on the Cádiz streets when you sit outside (:

Horario de atención amplio, hasta medianoche los sábados (no sé si señalarlo como acierto o como problema laboral, desconozco sus circunstancias).
Por lo visto antiguamente estaba genial pero cambiaron de dueño recientemente.

Waren zwei Tage später erneut hier. Als Vorspeise die gebackenen Kartoffelecken mit Knoblauchsauce, als Hauptspeisen Entrecote und Barbecue-Spieß: alles sehr zu empfehlen. Als Dessert musste unbedingt der phantastische Pistazienkuchen gegessen werden. Sprich, wenn Sie in Cadiz sind, müssen Sie auf jeden Fall zum Restaurant La Veganesa gehen!
HINWEIS: Die Schließzeiten ("Mon-Tue") sind nicht korrekt. Das Lokal hat auch an diesen Tagen geöffnet.

Was here 5 years ago and it was great. Food still good but the staff need a kick up the [censored]. The waitress was young, couldn’t be bothered to be there and had headphones in. While she was serving us she was clearly talking to someone else at the same time.

Tasty Potatoes but That’s It - Edit
We’ve eaten here twice and based on the great reviews, had high expectations. Unfortunately, these weren’t met. The menu is quite specific, so not everyone will find something they like. The first time we only had fried potatoes with aioli, which were quite tasty. The second time we had pizza, and it was the worst food we’ve ever had. The pizzas were soaked in oil, and the dough was clearly not homemade - the wrapping paper was still on it. Sadly, the service wasn’t great either – rather cold.

I really enjoyed my time in La Veganesa. The atmosphere was really lovely and the restaurant & all rooms are decorated beautifully! The owners were kind and took time to think with me what dish I may like the most. I had a delicious Peruvian Salat, a Tofu stew and, my absolute Highlight, a mango dessert! I recommend this restaurant, they have a huge variety of vegan dishes, I'd love to come back and try some more of the very delicious food they offer!🩷
