The full Andalucian experience... - Edit
Travelling through Andalucia, having tapas & a drink at the local Market hall is a must.
Now it is possible as a vegan/vegetarian to share this experience with the locals and let yourself be surprised by the variety of delicious dishes offered....I have waited for this moment for a long time and La Veganise managed to make trips into unforgettable Cadiz and its beaches just perfect !
Pros: Delicious food, Location, Location, Location, Nice vibe & staff

Amazing vegan stall in the market - Edit
Being a local but living abroad meant it was a lovely surprise to be back home for the holidays and come across this place! Lovely and cheap tapas, lots of choice, and all vegan, at least when we went. They have a menu in English. They don't serve drinks but you can grab cheap beers from many of the other stalls and get a table in the sun! I recommend the "meat" balls (albóndigas) and the seitan stew, but to be honest everything looked really nice. The portions are not huge (I mean, they're tapas), so just order loads of them. At that price, it's well worth it! (around 3 € per dish). I hope next time I come they've opened a restaurant, that'd be amazing! :)

Not overall appealing but not bad - Edit
The location is great inside the lively market. The selection is good with several dishes to choose from and a couple desserts. I ordered the quinoa burger and a cookie dessert. The desert was yummy, very chocolaty. The burger liked nice in the display with an artisan bun but it came with a packaged hamburger bun. The side was a very small amount of cold rice with some peanuts in it. The quinoa party was cooked really well and had good flavour but it was only topped with a slice of onion and tomatoe. Lots of room to improve it with a better side dish and toppings and keep the same bun from the display. Price was very good!

This was a great find at the food market in Cadiz. the first time I went it was shut and I didn't understand what the guy was expaining to me but luckily the next time I went it was open. I had a yummy tofu dish and a chocolate dessert and muffins! dishes are tapas style
Pros: cheap tapas dishes
Cons: no inside seating as its in an outdoor market

Highly recommended! - Edit
Located in the Central market (Mercado de abastos) and surrounded by other 'not-so-vegan' businesses, this little vegan oasis is surely worth visiting for everyone staying in Cadiz. The owner is very friendly, the service fast and they change the menu every day. I went there 3 times during my stay and had lentil hamburger, ensaladilla, saitan with potatoes, paella, moussaka and the owner even offered me a (very generous) taste of another vegan dish with bechamel. Prices for tapa range from 2 to 2,5 euros and the portions are good. What else to say: great!
Pros: Central, Cheap, Great offer
