Very disappointing. On all levels. - Edit
We spent a week in Madrid. Both my girl and I, are vegan. Thus, we were looking forward to checking out every vegan place we could in town. This was the first vegan restaurant we visited during our trip and... wow, was it disappointing. To start with, many of the pictures you see here on Happy Cow are not from this restaurant (or, they were- some time ago). I pointed to/asked about a few of the more appetizing images, and the waiter mentioned something about 'before' (my Spanish is very poor). I think, this was a different restaurant/owner before, and most images are from that time. The menu here, offers what promises to be great food. But, when it comes out... it's very cheaply done fast/junk food. We had the mushroom platter- it was just breaded mushrooms, deep fried, with fast food style vegetable oil (tasted like truck stop food - bland and, just what you'd expect from taking mushroom, breading them, and tossing them in a fryer). We tried a sandwich- it felt like a microwaved sandwich you pick up at a 7-11 (plain toast, oiled up (we requested no oil on it, but- it came soaked in oil anyway) with a few slices of lettuce and tomato). We also tried the potatoes- I don't recall the exact name on the menu, but they sounded quite tasty. What we received was the equivalent of one potato, thinly sliced, organized in an oval shape around the edges of a plate (to make the portion look bigger), with a dish of some sort of gravy in the middle.
Read moreAnyway, I genuinely dislike leaving a poor review for any vegan place. I feel like, we need to stick together, and support each other. However, this place... just failed on every level. The decor, the food, the misleading photos. I'm sure others have had a good experience here, however- if you like your food not only vegan, but also- 'healthy', and presented with some modicum of finesse, this isn't the place for you..

Cons: Food is truck-stop style junk/fast food., Most food in images on this site, isn't available., Interior/decor looks cheap/worn out.

Best vegan in Madrid - Edit
We really enjoyed our experience today at this all vegan restaurant in Madrid. The service was friendly and spoke wonder English. The food was quite tasty, you could tell the owner was quite passionate about his menu. They have free Wi-Fi and toilets. We were recommended to make
Read morereservations so we did. It's early in the game for our vegan food crawl across Madrid, but this one's definitely going to be in the top five. Highly recommend you give these guys a try and see for yourself.

Y me encantó.

Interesting food, small portions, forgettable service - Edit
I visited this place two weeks ago with three friends, and these are my thoughts.
Read moreThe online reservation process was easy, but the menu on the website was difficult to read.
The food was interesting, but it didn't meet my expectations.
The service was poor. The waitress was not only unfriendly, but she also failed to inform us that the draft beer machine had problems, plus the kitchen was closing, forcing us to rush our order.
For some reason, she seemed angry that we were there.
I definitely won't be visiting this place again.
Pros: Location
Cons: unfriendly staff, Portion size

We had a nice time. The food is good (especially the desserts are amazing!!!) and the interior is very nice with cool wall decorations. Unfortunately they don’t have the cheese platter anymore.

Creative food - Edit
Restaurant with a varied menu that includes Spanish and international dishes. All the dishes look very good. We ordered croquettes with bravioli sauce (very good), Middle Eastern rice, pad thai and for dessert, horchata cream. All the dishes were delicious and had a unique combination of flavours. Highly recommended. I warn those of you who, like me, read the “beetroot ravioli” dish and think that they are filled with beetroot: no, the ravioli are made of beetroot (not pasta), I warn you because the name of the dish may seem confusing.

The food was very tasty and the portions were really large. Also the menu was not mainly "fancy fastfood" as many vegan places in Madrid are.

Volveremos!

Went here with some more people and got to try manh of their dishes. We ordered the lentil ceviche salad, their charcuterie board, the pad thai, mushroom durum, tofu and "tuna" tartar, and a burger. All was good, although we especially liked the pad thai, the ceviche, and the charcuterie board. We also asked for bread and it was really delicious too.

this was a very cute an aesthetically pleasing restaurant. The food was very good and beautifully presented. I do wish they had more options on their revenue and items for children, but they also have several raw dishes, which was a cool find!

Es war lecker! - Edit
