In addition to vegetable sushi, this food bar also offers organic wine, juice, and cake; spreads and hummus; seitan, tofu, and tempeh with sweet and sour sauce umeboshi; and more. In the the center of Bilbao, close to the river and town hall, with plenty of seating. Open Mon-Thu 13:30-23:00, Fri-Sat 13:30-00:00, Sun 13:30-23:00.

Interesting vegan dishes - Edit
This small vegan restaurant had some dishes such as bulgogi and sushi that were interesting, and not always found in other places. The food itself was tasty, but on the expensive side for what it is. The service staff also seemed rather bored. Overall a nice experience, worth a try if you are nearby.

La Camelia Delivers - Edit
A genuinely enjoyable bar that is 100% plantbased, giving a decent choice of delicious food and drink. We had the first choice burger and the curcumin, handmade pitta tofu plate, washed down with a 500ml bottle of house vino tinto. We greedily added on the patatas option for both meals and heartily agreed what a wise decision we had made! Lovely food and surprisingly good wine, only outshined by the amazing service shown. (Thank you Uma Thurman, you know who you are!)

Welcome vegan delight - Edit
La Camelia is a delightful vegan restaurant with a real Basque/Iberian character. The menu has several excellent options and the staff can guide you. I had the Burger la de Siempre with roasted potatoes and their ginger ale, followed by a truly delicious chocolate mousse. A must for vegans and anyone else visiting Bilbao.

I had a decent vegan burger with vegan cheese and a side of pan fried potatoes. It was okay but not spectacular and I had been expecting more given the rave reviews.

Amazing food!! - Edit
Really nice owner and amazing food!! My non vegan Mom and Step-dad were really happy too!! I had the seitan pita (I think it was called that) And the gyoza, and it was so good, my mom talked about it for literally 3 days, and told the owner 3 times how good it was!

Expensive and small portions - Edit
It’s the first time I’m disappointed in a vegan restaurant😒the food was good (nothing exceptional but good!) but the portions were the size of appetiser with the price of a dish in another country (13€, more expensive than a standard dish in Spain). It would have been ok to pay this price if the portions were bigger (my seitan tropical literally had 4 small bits of seitan in it) The wait was also long and service not friendly. It’s good cause it’s hard to find vegan food in Bilbao but if you’re not there for a long time, I would recommend the other vegan restaurant in this city. We didn’t try anything else but I hope that other things are more filling/more special.

Totally worth the wait - Edit
I went there after a skinpy breakfast and had a spread and the seitan pita. Totally recommended! The kitchen is small, so be prepared to wait and don’t come in a hurry! The food may be too salty to some, but it was just the way I love it for me!

We went here after reading several positive reviews. Unfortunately, we were disappointed as the food was quite flavorless. It could use some seasoning and maybe more «interesting» ingredients. The soup was great though.

Disappointed - Edit
Ate here a few days ago. Had the burger / sandwich with seitan and SO had the one with tofu. It has the merit to exist, but if you can go somewhere else, you should. Or at least order something else. It wasn't very tasty and it was terribly overpriced for what it was. No one should use tofu without marinating it in a sandwich in which it's the main ingredient 🥲
