friendly service - Edit

Good food and prices. We had the 3 course menu which was very reasonably priced, €20. A lot of vegan options and although we didn't try any pinxtos they looked very delicious.
A must visit if you're in the neighbourhood

nice place, food ok - Edit

Spacious restaurant, trying to be a little "hipster", but not quite succeeding; the atmosphere, however, is nice.

I was there on Sunday at lunch time. The menu price was 13 Euro for a main course and a desert, or 20 Euro for a starter, main, desert and drink. The variety is not bad: you choose from around 5 starters, 4 mains and 4 deserts. Additionally, there are 5-6 snacks on the menu (like samosas and sandwitches). The deserts were quite boring and just not my taste (french toast, plate of fruits, yoghurt with apple mousse, and vanilla cream). Main dish only was 10 Euro, so I ordered one - it was called "rice pasta lasagna" or sth like that. The food was brought within 5 minutes, which is a little too quick to be freshly prepared, and also the consistency was very much indicating the use of a microwave. It was a half-solid piece of something, covered with and swimming in lots of thick white and orange sauce. The pasta was soft and very sticky, and I could not really identify which vegetables were in there. The portion was very small - but the complementary bread helped.

Although the consistency and the overall appearance of the dish was not satisfying, the taste was ok and the sauce was not too greasy. Given the situation with vegan food in Bilbao and around it, and the fact that I was very hungry, I was satisfied.

Pros: several vegan options, nice friendly service

Cons: food just ok, price rather high, small portions

very good experience - Edit

We ordered very tasty food (a lot of it, the waitress had to stop us and told us it would be too much!!!) :)
Very friendly people, also let us in with our two dogs (something quite unusual in Spain).
Fair prices.

bueno - Edit

Cons: poco sazon

Best Food Ever - Edit

I really can´t understand some of the critics but maybe it is because we ordered from the dinner menu and others here ordered from the normal menu. But everything we tried was sooo, so delicious. It was the best food I ate in a looooong time. The only thing that was not almost perfect was the red wine, but foodwise - just amazing. Quite friendly staff as well and nice decoration.

Pros: Taste, Fair price, Ambiente

Nice place, filling meal - Edit

Nice food, good deal with dessert and a main course. Restaurant also stocks various organic drinks and meal came with nice fresh bread. Meal was nice, nothing spectacular. I would recommend it if you are in the area. Menu entirely vegan, one dish that could be vegan or vegetarian.

Expensive - Edit

Although the food is nice and the location as well (2 minutes from the main train station), it is very expensive and the price is simply not justified.

Pros: Good food, Nice place

Cons: Very expensive

Loads of potential but not even close - Edit

I had high hopes for Km.0 especially when we arrived to see the lovely restaurant, however the food is bland, unimaginative and expensive. From all the dishes we tried I only liked the Falafel and French toast. I didn't even eat my main meal as it was so plain and dry and we didn't eat one of the desserts as the crepe was not cooked. The waiter was lovely in trying to explain the menu to us however he didn't succeed and we didn't know what we ordered. I would suggest trying elsewhere or just go for the pintxos and wine.

Pros: nice ecological wine, friendly staff, atmosphere

Cons: poor flavored food, unimaginative , expensive

km0 20 Apr 2015 - Dear Necia11.
Sorry you didn't eat well. We go everyday to the market and of course all our products are fresh. Perhaps you foud our cuisine lack of spices (basque cooking doesn't use spices but parsley and garlic. The "croquetas " you ate are one of our more successful dishes. Our costumers love them as the falafel.
All desserts are home made and most of them are vegan; so sometimes they could not be as tasty as normal ones. We're improving.
Finally you say that it was expensive. If you drink a Rioja Crianza wine you have to pay it(although our wines are in a very good price comparing with those in pintxo bars)
I invite you to give everybody a second opportunity before write a good or bad opinion.

No es un restaurante Km0 !!!! - Edit

Cons: Fraude a Slow Food, Nada original

km0 09 Dec 2014 - Proyecto Kmo
Aupa Aitziber:
Saludos

Willing to come back... again and again! - Edit

This restaurant was opened a month ago and we have already been to it 6 times. No need to say that we love it!

There is a set menu that changes every week, consisting of 4 starters, 4 mains and 4 desserts to choose from. Believe me, it's really hard to make a choice as everything sounds, and indeed tastes, so good! No matter if you eat a salad, grilled vegetables, a lasagna or a rissotto, you will be delighted. Not to mention the desserts, either torrija or brownie, both to die for!

I can only reccomend this place and suggest that you come and try it, you won't regret it.

Pros: Tasty food, Good presentation, Nice atmosphere
