The best place around for vegan food! Amazing cakes, coffee and cakes - would rate 5* but as it’s not fully vegan this app won’t allow! But it’s defo a 5 star rating from me!

I was so excited when a new café opened in Kirkcaldy that didn’t just offer vegan, but also vegan gluten free options. I have visited about five times so far and have had a great experience every time. The owners are very passionate about what they do and all staff members are very friendly and instantly make you feel at home. The café offers mostly bagels, soup and cakes. All cakes are vegan and there is usually at least one gluten free cake option, sometimes three. I have tried about four different types of cake to date and they have all been delicious. The coconut frangipani is my favourite. There are a few omni options for the bagels, but most of the menu and bagel fillings are vegan. The café offers the best local ingredients around. I haven’t tried the coffee, but the tea is delicious and is served in a pot with a little timer, telling you when to remove the loose tea. Oat milk is offered as a dairy substitute. I have tried the vegan pastrami, pickle and “cheese” bagel and the avocado and tomato chipotle, both amazing. Gluten free bagels are also offered. The decor is very arty and homely at the same time. The tables are small, with seating inside and outside. A record player sits in the corner and I believe you can bring your own LPs with you to play. All in all a great atmosphere with a loyalty card for repeat visits. The café also offers art classes for kids one day a week. Definitely a 5 star café.

My friend introduced me to Kangus and I instantly fell in love with their food and the whole vibe they give! Fife has been needing somewhere like this to bring light to peoples eyes that vegan food is not at all boring. There’s so many vegan options on the menu (I highly recommend the PLC bagel- it is to die for) and not to mention the selection of vegan cakes and sweet treats. My friend also convinced me to get a coffee as she said they are amazing (I’m not a big fan of coffee) so I got a flat white with oatly and honest to god it’s the best coffee I’ve ever had, it was so creamy! I cannot rate this place high enough I’m just so obsessed with it and the staff are so lovely, talkative and cheery!! I wish I could give 5 stars but it won’t let me due to it not being fully vegan. Thanks for the amazing local cafe guys, you’re the best ♡

When I first heard about this place I was over the moon to have somewhere like this on my doorstep. Finally a cafe that has more than one option for us Vegans. The food is delicious, the staff are so lovely and they really know their stuff! Cannot recommend this place enough!! If I could rate it 5 stars I would but this app only lets you rate 5 stars if the restaurant or cafe is fully vegan or vegetarian but the fact that there are options available for everyone is great because it means I can take my non vegan/vegetarian friends too. What are you waiting for??? Go Go Go!!

All the cakes and donuts were vegan all sourced from local suppliers.
Really worth a visit.
