A toastie and pizza van with vegan cheese and topping options. Appear at various markets around Fife, consistently at the Artisan Friday market on Kirkcaldy High St. Check social media for schedule.
Check Kirkcaldy Artisan Market for changes / cancellations.
I appreciate that they're catering to vegans, even though in this area it's very easy to ignore that crowd and not lose out on much business. They have a prominent vegan toastie menu, or you can just choose any pizza with vegan cheese on top.
The options are pretty much mushrooms, jalapenos, onions and tomatoes though - so a few more creative veggies, maybe some not-sausage, wouldn't be amiss.
That said, the pizzas are really fab, with a lovely crust and sauce. They're not huge, but enough for lunch and a good price for the quality you get. And the toasties really hit the spot if you are craving something cheesey. They use violife, which melts well, and have proper pizza ovens in the van.
The owners are community minded, and serve homeless people food for free.
The business got taken over by other people over a year ago and haven't upated their facebook page (or appeared in Kirkcaldy) since. I've emailed to find out if they still exist and do decent vegan options, and will update if I find out. But don't expect to find them on Kirkcaldy high st.

Pros: Great pizza, Charitable business
Cons: Can be a bit slow to be ready, Not a big selection of vegan-friendly toppings
