I’ve been wanting to try Kangus for a while and it didn’t disappoint! It’s great to have vegan places in Fife especially when they’re as nice as this. Food and coffee were great, the cafe itself was really nicely decorated and the staff were so lovely!

It's great Kirkcaldy has a vegan cafe!! Went along with a Vegan Runners meetup. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were lovely. With the large group they did food orders section by section as so some were finished eating while some were still waiting, but they told us they'd do that and it's just a small kitchen, so no complaints.

Small venue with as many tables and chairs as they can fit in so no-one misses out. The cake looked and tasted fab but the hot chocolate was more a mug of hot milk.

Sadly like most town centre's, Kirkcaldy is a wee bit ghostly. However the vibe in Kangus was inviting and friendly, not just from staff but from, I assume regulars. This wasn't your usual stereotypical hipster/student mob, rather a range of different ages. I had the praise seitan bagel and really enjoyed it. (Not sure if they offered filled rolls in place of bagels) Kinda wish I tried some cakes as well

Kangus is the one of the best vegan spots in Fife! The bagels, sandwiches, specials and cakes always hit the mark and the drinks are also superb (the white hot chocolate is a particular fav!). All the food is locally sourced, with cakes from considerit and herbivore kitchen and bagels from Bros.

Homemade soup with homemade soda bread is always delicious.
A great place to come with friends or on your own. There is a paper shop next door.
My only complaint is that the cafe is quite small so you're not guaranteed a seat at peak times.

I live in New Jersey in the US where bagels are a way of life. So I know my bagels. Kangus bagels are as good as the best NJ has to offer. Superb choice of vegan fillings makes it even better. They also have gin and tonic cup cakes!!!

This gorgeous cafe is just outside Kirkcaldy town centre (5 minutes walk) but sooo worth the effort. Cabinet full of vegan cakes and donuts!

Nicest staff ever! I popped in as part of my 6000 mile UK walk on behalf of the Samaritans and this will take some beating.
