Delicious and cosy

A lovely homely cafe right by Kirkcaldy bus station, and close to the train, handy for anyone passing through or local. There's lots of space, wifi, and a welcoming host.

The menu and cakes are all homemade and changes regularly, but there will always be vegan options and they will always be delicious, hearty and healthy. Today there was curry parsnip soup, a roast pepper and bean chilli bowl (served with cous cous, tortilla chips and salad), raw energy balls and ginger cookies. There is sometimes meat on the menu, but most dishes are vegetarian (also today: frittatas and mac n cheese, plus a selection of other cakes.)

The coffees made with oat milk are lovely, and there are vegan marshmallows for a hot chocolate.

Allergen listing is available for everything on the wall, and menu items are labelled, and the owner (Sam) is very knowledgeable about dietary restrictions. There are also always gluten free options available.

Prices are definitely on the low end.

Small independent cafes are struggling in Kirkcaldy at the moment, so I'm happy to see a thoughtful place open up, and I hope Sam gets the support needed to stay open!
