What can I say, Kamadena is so awesome that we had dinner there twice within a week and not only because it's Riga's only vegetarian restaurant.

The food itself is excellent. Everything tastes very fresh, vegetables are cooked precisely right and the portions have the perfect size for me. The first time around I had vegetarian burritos which were very good, especially since they also use local vegetables like peas for the filling. The second time I had falafel, which were served with rice and wok vegetables. For the desert lovers I definitely want to recommend the banana chocolate samsosas, which come with vanilla ice cream. Oh, did I mention already that you get some free bread with different types of butter before the actual meal? If not I should, because Latvian bread is surprisingly good!
The interior design is very nice too, but personally I could do without the New Age music, which for me was the place's only drawback. The male bathroom looks like it's straight from a David Lynch movie btw, which kinda crept me out.
I really hope this place manages to stay open, because both times we were there it wasn't exactly bustling.
