Beautiful atmosphere where you would think there would be more plant-based

This gorgeously-restored historic market building makes for a romantic date night or chill bar experience and could have me coming in much more if there were a few more all-plant dishes and maybe a dessert too since the owner is a dessert expert. I am confused by this menu with items marked V (vegetarian?) and vegan though several seem (from listed ingredients) that they would be vegan but are not marked. The one vegan entree is always creative and seasonal, and you can get vegan cheese for the pizza -- the mushroom one is soooo good. That cheese would work great on other dishes as would the cashew cream sometimes used in the vegan entree.

I get it that omni people will avoid wonderful dishes marked as vegan, which is why a symbol may work better. What do I know though? The thin homemade focaccia bread is delicious dipped in seasoned oil and is now a nomimal charge if you want extra or to have it with just a drink, fine with me. Some people probably gorged on it in lieu of a meal, lol.

Pros: Perfectly lit, beautiful atmosphere, consistently good service

Cons: Stylish places like this need more vegan options, confusing menu that needs a key at the bottom
