Excellent Food - Edit
Had the soy steak. Delicious - very moist and light with a slightly chewy, smooth texture. New texture to me. The steak was over vegetables, my choice as you can choose one of 4 options-plantain mashed was one other option.
Read moreAlso had a salad (without the mozzarella) and a quinoa bowl. Very grateful that they have wonderful vegan options. Wish they would have had more options like an appetizer or dessert!

Delicious food! - Edit
We ate here on Christmas Day. The soy steaks with grilled vegetables, a side of pumpkin puree, and the huge salad with mushrooms, celery, palm hearts and avocado were so delicious. We asked ahead for a vegan dessert and the chef surprised us with an excellent chocolate brownie and passionfruit sorbet. The restaurant itself is lovely and right next to the water with tables adequately spaced apart, mood lighting, good music and attentive wait staff.

The vegan steak with tax was about $20 and it wasn't a huge amount of food either (we appreciated the complimentary bread to help fill us up). There weren't very many vegan options on the menu either. Worth mentioning that you need to take a very short ride via water taxi to the restaurant -- the listed address is incorrect.

It's not easy to find good vegan options in galapagos. The avocado sushi and the grilled soy meat dish was really delicious.

Highlight of our gastronomic experience in Galapagos - Edit
We ordered their grilled soy meat dish and I have never imagined that soy meat can taste so good! Also their sushi was a delight and tasted just great! Servise was also very kind. Just for sitting outside take a repelent!

I got the vegan BBQ plate and it was delicious!! I've had a hard time finding soy in Ecuador, so it was nice to have some faux meat instead of beans/lentils every night. Perfectly cooked and tons of food! Highly recommend this dish.

Great for vegans and nonvegans - Edit
My boyfriend and another couple visited here in October 2017. We were able to get meat, vegetarian options and vegan options with vegan meat! We ate here for our first meal after arriving to Galapagos and were able to happily stuff ourselves. $95 US for 4 people to eat and 3 people to drink.

Considering you are in Galapagos, I strongly recommend this place. They have a few vegan options but clearly marked. Together with the main dish you can choose one side dish, the majority are vegetarian, but they were happy to make them vegan by removing the cheese, or the garlic butter and so on.
