Amazing food - Edit
Delicious, wholesome and unusual food with friendly service. I had a “combo” consisting of Ukrainian soup, two main items, and a desert. The fruit smoothie was also delicious. Couldn’t eat the desert as was so well fed, but we ate it an hour or two later and it was outstanding. Wonderful French and Ukraine influences resulted in me wondering about moving to Vancouver!

Amazing flavours! High tea & raw vegan cheeseboards - Edit
I loved everything I ate here but the raw vegan cheeseboards were my favourite…

Indigo Age showed me how delicious raw vegan could be!

Erratic hours - we'll try again next time - Edit
Just noting that this restaurant was still closed on Saturday at 11:45, then open for a while, then closed again when we tried again at 2 (after waiting next door for it to open). It may have hours different than posted--call ahead.

Great food, cozy, great staff - Edit
I had a three course menu and enjoyed all of it. They offer dishes from various countries, which I find great because of the variety this brings. I had the borscht, cabbage rolls, pierogi and tiramisu. I especially liked the pierogi but all of it was really great. Highly recommend.

Good vegan lunch - Edit
Good vegan lunch cafe. They had vegan only menu with a wide selection of Ukrainian food such as soups, heavy food, sallads, cakes and smoothies. I tried one of the soups that came with either bread or crackers and cashew butter as well as cashew cream.

A nice change from the usual vegan food. We loved the pierogies and borscht!

a gorgeous meal for affordable price - Edit
If you looking for a healthy, plentiful meal with lots of national options availabple like Ukrainian, Indian, Mexican in downtown, 500 m from Canada Place, that's a right place. Huge portions, feels like cooked with love by my caring mom, but presentation also beautiful.
Read moreUkrainian borsh is exemplary, which means a lot for me, as I'm from Ukraine.
Avocado waffles also looked and tasted great.
A huge jar of smoothie is waiting for me, but I'm not sure if there is any space left in me.
So you can have a big meal for up to $30.
Thank for the meal, great job, guys!
Pros: Good and healthy menu, free wifi, good prices
Cons: wifi not too fast

Stayed late to feed us. - Edit
We arrived right before closing and the staff stayed late to feed us the most amazing Ukrainian meals. Had my first Golden mylk and loved it. Wife had the hot chocolate and she was smacking her lips.

Tasty but... - Edit
Had a great experience in terms of service and the food was tasty but the prices were too high especially for the size of the portions. I feel this is a bit of a barrier for people trying the vegan dine out experience.

All about it. - Edit
Well I’ll be! #Raw vegan eats in Vancouver! This vegan cafe has plentiful #rawfood dishes, plus cooked vegan Ukrainian dishes and get this - British High Tea by reservation from 3-5p every day. And they use avocado like Savory frosting. So ... APPROVED! Chat with Kyle on staff - he’s golden.

Adorable cafe with delicious food - Edit
I have been able to go to Indigo Age twice so far. The first time, I loved the decor- it's decorated like an idealized, woodland pixie's treehouse- and I also loved the cheese plate and golden mylk I ordered. The cheeses are delicious and beautifully presented, and the sourdough bread that comes with it is really good.
Read moreI went back because I was excited to try their take on vegan Ukrainian food. It was great! The cabbage roll was unorthodox though probably my favourite, and the mushroom pierogi and borscht are also worth trying.
(While I didn't try high tea there, I did see it served and all of the food looked beautiful.)
But , while the service here is warm and friendly, it does not have the fastest turnaround time. It would be dangerous to order lunch here when you need to be somewhere else in half an hour. It's also not cheap, though I thought the prices were fair.
Pros: Tasty food, Unusual specialty (vegan Ukrainian food), Great atmosphere (decor and service)
Cons: A tad expensive, Food is slow to come out
