Amazing vegan chocolate shake!!! Excellent food x

Excellent veggie restaurant with amazing vegan selection. Small and cool with nice welcoming feel.
I had a carob and banana shake and also a coconut shake. And I shared a bean burrito and bean burger.
Def go here!!!!!
Loved it x

Pros: Vegan selection huge, Healthy, Very reasonably priced

Cons: Food took a while ( but worth the wait!)

Okay and affordable. Be careful with the dairy.

The restaurant is centrally located, near the main intersection, and right beside a main road. Not sure if that’s a good thing.
Be careful as I learned (too late) that it’s “vegetarian” and not strictly vegan. So a good percentage of the menu has dairy. Lots of it. Especially cheese.
Service was okay and quality was okay as well. Just not authentic. Far from it. Especially the “Mexican” ones. But otherwise, a decent place.

No AC, so it might get uncomfortable at noontime. We went in the evening.

Pros: Affordable, Okay service, Accessible

Cons: Lots of dairy, No AC, Parking may be an issue

Good and cheap

Very simple place but nice food. As we read the dishes are small we shared a few - spring rolls, fried tofu and two other dishes. I don’t remember the price but it was crazy cheap. We didn’t have to wait that long for the food as other did in the reviews, maybe we were lucky😄

Very tasty and reasonable cheap

Friendly stuff offering a variety of cheap and tasty food. Unfortunately no air condition and a bit noisy near the main road.

Ok

Ima’s is a small family-owned restaurant near the downtown area that specializes in more European (Italian) food and this is very dairy based. There are some vegan options. Whatever I had I forgot about so it wasn’t memorable in a good or bad way.

Nice, simple, home cooked food.

Small restaurant offering a wide selection of vegetarian food. Portions on the small side but everything is pretty cheap. All the dishes we had were basic but tasty. The only downside was we had to wait almost an hour for our food but we had time to spare so didn't mind too much. BYOB.

Nice place

Nice garden seating area - feels a bit like an oasis. Good size vegetarian menu but the woman on the counter didn't seem to know what was vegan.. the food was small serving but tasty. Good price. I only ate there once. As I was being served my food a man arrived and explained to me what was vegan on the menu - he said that they make their own vegan cream and cheese using tofu and savoury yeast flakes - would have been handy to have him there when I was ordering!

Lovely local

Lots of options in small local restaurant. Had the teriyaki tofu for lunch which was delicious - although not huge. My boyfriend has the bean burrito which he really enjoyed and was a big portion.
Would return if I was here for longer.

Decent

Really lovely people working there and decent food, but I wasn’t blown away by what I had. I visited a couple of times and tried the burrito, teriyaki tofu and the rojak salad. The teriyaki tofu was my favourite of the three but was quite dry and too salty. I think they forgot ingredients in my salad as normally this type of salad should have tofu and/or other ingredients, but this was just a basic green salad with a vinaigrette dressing. The burrito was fine but a bit bland. Also, the service was so incredibly slow it was a bit comedic after awhile. For one of my dishes I eventually asked to have it to go as it was taking so long. She said, it’s already on the plate and will arrive right away. But I still had to wait another 10 minutes…;p

Not recommended at all

Please add less water in juices and try to add some flavor to food. It was very raw and no taste.

Great place, great food

Ima's had been there forever, recently changed it's location but still is the grwat place it used to be: Very friendly owners, every dish can be made vegan, big menu, so tasty and great "bang for the buck" too.
A must go place for vegetarians/vegans visiting Puerto!

Pros: Rich choice of vegan dishes, Very affordable , Friendly owners

Cons: Very small place, Servings a bit small for European stomachs 🙃

Not so tasty

Everything is the menu is very promising but then not really executed right. I really liked the small portion of guacamole and the Thai salad but they made Teriyaki taste bad and that's kind of impossible! And the tempeh was boring too.

Pros: The staff is very friendly

Healthy vegetarian and vegan food

Always nice place to visit. Nowadays their menu is separated for vegetarian and vegan sections so it's really easy to pick up what's suitable for your diet. Wide variety of dishes for both diets and super fresh shakes too. Portions are small-ish so I recommend to order an appetizer too.

A wonderful vegetarian restaurant with loads of vegan options

Extremely happy to find this little place that is able to convert their various vegetarian dishes to vegan. Loved the tempeh steak, "sausage" fajitas, spicy bean burger, buko shake with soy milk. The Halo halo with soy milk was also a treat. The eggplant and mushroom sandwich and the stir fry vegetables were mildly disappointing but I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to all vegetarians and vegans in Puerto Princesa.

Pros: Loads of vegetarian options that can be made vegan, Has vegan cheese and meat substitutes, Wonderful staff

Pros: Tempeh!!

Great!

Considering there are only two vegeterian restaurants in Puerto Princesa, Imas served satisfactory food! Some dishes better than others. Imas suprise smoothie is delicous! The guacamole also! The waiters were very nice and we're happy to make anything from the menu vegan.

Pros: Plenty of vegan options, Affordable prices

Cons: Some dishes were below average

Veganize it!

Most dishes can be veganized, which unfortunately doesn't include the pasta at the time of writing (they contain eggs) and I'm hoping they change that soon. The tempeh or tofu burger sandwich are my all time favourites so far.. Bean burrito is basically great, too, but I agree that they could improve the sauce to make it tastier (and maybe learn how to fold a burrito rather than just rolling).. But overall highly recommended for vegans and I'm grateful for their effort in spreading awareness in a country that is lacking plant based options! Be back for sure..

Poor food with random taste

Nothing was good only guacamole but the size it’s for a 3 months old kid. Had a rice and bean burrito with the beans half cooked and very random taste, had the guaca which was ok with weird tortilla chips but they serve you 3 tb spoons only and had a rice with veggies and tofu which was so tasteless and the worse Asian food ever had.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Joke food they shall close or change chef, Food is so tasteless and random, Guaca so pricy since portion is so small
