Hollywood Farmer's Market

I go to this market nearly every weekend to pick up some essentials, they have fresh produce, juices, some vegan cheeses, and a lot of natural and vegan options when it comes to skincare. Obviously there are meat, egg, milk and honey vendors but has great options and great atmosphere!

A great place to get farm-fresh produce, as well as many other staples of a vegan diet. Yes, there are eggs and dairy vendors, and even a fish seller but this is a part of the society we live in. As mentioned, A Taste of Life sells their amazing vegan soul food here, including their fantastic breakfast sandwiches. There are also several other vendors with vegan food, although most are not strictly vegan so make sure you talk to them.

The Hollywood farmers market is huge. It covers 4 blocks (in a cross) and has everything. Produce of all sorts (even sprouted beans), flowers, snack items, breads, hot food vendors, crafts, etc. Unfortunately, they also sell eggs and chicken with free range and cage free signs. :-( It can never be humane and I don't like the public thinking they are being conscientious shoppers by buying them.

Come prepared to spend some time as there's lots to see and there's lots of people too! After our shopping, we took A Taste of Life and Cobblermania home for lunch. Yummy!

I love to come to this market. Vendors take up 4 blocks. There's lots of fresh produce as well as hot foods, flowers, gifts, etc... even musicians and children's entertainers.
