nice for stockholm - Edit
Always end up here since there are not so many vegetarian restaurants in Stockholm. This is one of the best but it doesn't mean that is is great.

Great view, ambiance and food - Edit
The staff were very helpful and seated 3 of us at a table with a great view over the harbor and Stockholm. While it was very busy..the food and atmosphere was fantastic.

Gamla Stan Veggie Oasis - Edit
So happy to visit for a very satisfying plate of veggie goodness in the heart of the old town. Delicious food in a bright and friendly atmosphere. Good price and great value. Particularly appreciated the hummus. Yum.

Delicious food in old town - Edit
Buffet style one cost then salad, bread & hot dishes (cheesy potato/caulfilower, spicy potatoes, ratatouille, dhal soup & flavoured rice). Would have to check with owners which hot dishes aren’t suitable for vegans (I think only the cheesy potato when I went).

Comfy vegan buffet in Stockholm Gamla stan - Edit
Some 12 options from the buffet, all vegan except 2 which contained dairy. Nice sweets too.
Read moreThe food was abundant and very tasty too.
I was so pleased to spend a couple hours waiting for my ferry in this extremely friendly vegetarian restaurant, I'll sure be back! It's mid way between the railway station and the Viking Line terminal and it's ok to sit down with your laptop (a few power plugs, sufficient space, decent wifi).
Pros: Excellent, abundant vegan options, Perfect location in the old town, Convenient wifi, power

Très bon rapport qualité prix ! - Edit

All vegan on 21st August 2023 - Edit
Family lunch for 5 The chap behind the counter said everything on the menu was vegan. I note other reviews say this has not always been the case. You pay and get a plate and bowl and then help yourself to as much as you like. Soup, Chana Dhal , rice lots of salads falafel and more. Free water but you pay extra for hot drinks and puddings . Food was very nice and everyone in our group of five happy.

I had a funny tummy after but the n one else in my party reported this so it must just be something else I ate.
Pros: All vegan the day we are, Nice environment , Warm food
Cons: The crockery , No coffee or cake included

Slightly dull buffet - Edit
Its down as veggie but it was all vegan when I visited. Also all the food was served warm not hot. Its cheaper than Herman's but nowhere near as good. The food is filling but a bit bland. I liked the interesting felafel.

Filling for the day! - Edit
We came here for lunch on our final day in Stockholm in June 2023. A wide selection of food - with some of the most delicious bread we’ve ever had! This was an incredibly filling meal (just one plate) and 90% of the food was vegan friendly. I think on the day we went the pasta was not, which was a shame as pasta is my favourite.
Read moreWe enjoyed the food and sat outside which was really nice. We did ask the lady who was serving us how it worked but she said it was a buffet then kind of left us to it and seemed a bit distracted. Otherwise it was really great and we would recommend it!
Pros: Good selection of food , Good value, Nice location, pretty street
Cons: Staff could have been a little friendlier

Absolutely Delicious - Edit
I was looking for vegan options during my stay in Gamla Stan, and was so happy to find this restaurant! The buffet isn’t huge, but you can definitely become full- and very quickly! Everything was so delicious and fresh. I meant to take better pictures but I was enjoying my dinner so much, I’m surprised I managed to remember to take any at all! 😋

Excellent buffet - Edit
Great vegetarian buffet with a nice selection of dishes, most of which were vegan (with the exception of the vegetarian lasagna). Delicious, affordable food and a cozy place. I especially recommend the spicy "meatballs" made with couscous (I think). My only criticism is that dishes could have been labelled, at least in the cases that are not quite self-evident.

Love the simplicity of the food here! - Edit
If you’re here on weekdays they have a good lunch offer. A bit pricier on weekends but still super affordable! You can also choose to just have one plate instead of the full buffet for 10-20 sek cheaper. Add coffee after lunch for only 10:- extra! Will have to come back for dessert some other day
