The food always tastes nice in Harmonium. If you like stuff like Bosh, you’ll be into the food, they serve dishes like Mac n cheese, cauliflower wings, hush puppies but also really good salads. It definitely leans more to comfort food though.

The drinks are mostly local or small breweries/producers.
The vibe is quite laidback and casual.

This was the second time I’ve been to Harmonium, first time in the new venue which I really liked. It was a really nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I chose the Mac and cheese as I’d heard great things about it, and my boyfriend had the Mac and cheese pizza. We waited… and waited… and waited… for over an hour until finally we got our food. I didn’t mind, though, as it seemed busy and I’d heard good things about the Mac and cheese. But I was disappointed again. The food was cold and overcooked by the time it had got to me and the only thing I could taste from the Mac and cheese was turmeric ☹️ my boyfriend said the pizza was nice but wished it had come with more Mac and cheese and chillies (as it was a spicy Mac and cheese pizza). I really wanted to love this place but I hate to say I was disappointed

Rumors are true, the loaded Mac & cheese is delicious, as is the blue cheese burger. Cafe-bar atmosphere, airy & open, nice servers. Yum. Only regret not getting the Irn Bruwnie.

We enjoyed everything we tried other than the banana blossom fish. The texture was a bit strange and it didn’t have much flavour to it, it was ok once we lathered it in the tartare sauce though. This might just be a personal taste thing but all of us didn’t really enjoy it.

We ordered the Filet o To-Fish Burger and the Lo Scozzese Pizza. The menu had a variety of dishes, from salads to pizza and burgers. The «fish» burger was very nice, with a taste of smoked salmon, which was kinda cool ✨ The pizza was also very good, with a great crust and delicious toppings! I highly recommend visiting this place if you’re in Edinburgh looking for a nice lunch or dinner 🥰 Nice place, great staff and great food!

I went here when I was on vacation in Scotland. I went with my non vegan grandmother and she enjoyed it just as much as I did (and I enjoyed it a lot!). I would definitely recommend the pizzas and the veggie burgers

After hard day of travel, slipped in and ordered at 8:40 before kitchen closed. I had grilled artichokes on rocket salad and the traditional burger. Both perfectly prepared. Just the right amount of dressing on salad. Burger comes with small rocket side salad and large pile of fries. Fries could have been just a bit more crispy. Otherwise excellent meal. Added in a gin cocktail that was flavorful and enjoyable. So glad we found Harmonium! Staying in Edinburgh a month, so we returned again and again.

The bar tender was lovely and gave good advice on a whisky and the food was delicious. Bit out of the way but don't let that put you off, worth the walk. We had loaded fries, Mac and cheese and tacos. All great, loaded fries were the standout.

We ordered hush puppies and cauliflower wings for appetizers and they were delicious. For main course we ordered fish n chips and that was a bit disappointing. It tasted nothing like fish and we’ve had this before in other places (hence the 4 stars). We also ordered the mac n cheese pizza and it was really good.

I love the fact that it's a vegan pub, and liked the atmosphere. I was however a bit disappointed by the food. I had a daily soup and a big salad with strawberries and feta. The soup came with sourdough bread that was not fresh, not toasted either, just a bit dry. And the salad was packed with raw red onions (not really edible, in those amounts). I feel that not much was missing... toasting the bread? Quickly grilling the onions? Adding some toppings on the soups to make it look nice?

Absolutely loved the food but be warned it was very filling so definitely didnt need to go for the starter. We had the 'fish burger' which was so delicious (this fish was different than other reviews, tofu based) and the maca nd cheese which was delicious. The mac and cheese said it had haggis in though which i couldnt see/taste. Only thing to note that although it says open till 11pm the kitchen closes at 9pm.

We visited Harmonium during our trip to Edinburgh and we LOVED the food. The place is large and has great vibes and decoration. I ate the Load Mac & Cheese and it was the best Mac & Cheese I have ever had. My partner got the Chargrilled Scotch Bonnet Cauli Steak and he said it was one of his top meals he's ever eaten. Amazing spot and I highly recommend to others! We told our friends in Dundee to come and check it out!
