Vegan choices, but not really tasty - Edit
The staff was nice and immediately asked if we were vegan, so they definitely watch out for this. However, none of our meals was great.

Many vegan options - Edit
They have so many vegan options or veganizable meals and the staff is knowledgeable about veganism and they speak some English, so that's great. I had the vegan maratang (aka hotpot) and it was very good aside from the fact that it was very spicy although we asked to make it not as spicy.

Tasty - Edit
More Chinese style food, but I am a big fan of Mapo tofu and this one was really good.
Read moreWe had 짜장면 that was good too, the least spicy dish, besides we had a spicy soup too
We loved all of the dishes
Most of the things that marked as vegetarian in the menu, can be made vegan
But my friend mentioned that they did not let her eat alone
Pros: Tasty, Many vegan options

Good except noodles - Edit
The vegan noodles they use in their vegan dishes have a really weird texture. We got 1 non-noodle dish and that was good.

Great variety of vegan dishes! - Edit
This is a delicious Chinese restaurant in Hongdae. It offers a variety of dishes that one can order vegetarian and vegan (they have a green 'sticker'); explicitly state that you are vegan. I can recommend the 마파두부 (tofu in a sauce with chili and beans). The staff there was very friendly, the food arrived quickly and the price was totally fine. Would totally recommend it.

Good food - Edit
Had dinner here with a non-vegan friend and it was good! They offer Chinese cuisine. It’s located in the second floor of a building around Hongdae. The staff doesn’t speak English, so you should use Google Translate or Naver Papago when ordering.
Read moreFood, for me, is good and the prices are okay. Just make sure to order the ones with “채식” under it.

Great Chinese food - Edit
They have a lot of options for vegetarians/vegans. The menu has a green sticker next to the dishes that can be made vegetarian/vegan. I went here with my friends who are not vegetarian but they loved the vegetarian food more than the meat! Will definitely go back to try the other options.

good food with a lot of vegan options - Edit
We really enjoyed the food there. it was ridiculously fast and very good!
Read moreone thing was a little irritating, they write everywhere that they open at 10:30, but the waitress was very confused when we walked in at 10:40 and mentioned that they actually open at 11:00. Not updating the opening hours and giving customers a surprising look seems odd… but we got our food anyway.

Good food, lots of options - Edit
Even if I came to this restaurant specifically to try the jajjangmyeon, I was surprised by the number of vegan options this restaurant has. I also tried the tofu stir-fry and it was delicious! I never tried jajjangmyeon before so I can’t really compare but I would say it was a delicious meal 😊

Loads of Chinese vegan food - Edit
This restaurant is run by Chinese people and serves traditional Chinese cooking. It offers more than the regular Chinese restaurants with Sino-Korean fusion foods! The flavor here is more authentic and less Koreanized, e.g. their Jjajangmyeon tastes less sweet and more salty than at other places.
Read moreTheir menu includes an extra section with a diversity of vegan foods! In summary, various tofu-based and vegetable dishes!
There are a couple more vegan and vegetarian options among the rest of the menu as well, e.g. fried rice, Maratang and Jjajangmyeon. Staff speaks Korean and Chinese and can help you find veggie options.
Prices are rather low, starting at 6000 KRW for Jjajangmyeon, 8000KRW for a one-person serving with rice or a small platter for sharing.
The restaurant is located on the second floor of a building close to Hongik University Station.
Food takes some time to be made, but staff is friendly.
