Mushroom broth is not vegan! - Edit
Staff is not knowledgeable, they told us Mushroom and Sezuchan broth would be vegan, but they‘re not! Check the tablet you get for ordering, it can display the ingredients list for each broth (in English). As of October 2025, only tomato broth and Chinese cabbage soup are vegan. Also, the signage of the sauce bar is only in Korean, so get your Google Translate app ready and use the camera function. There is also an ingredients list nearby (but only in Korean as well). A lot of sauces contain fish, but from what we saw, soy sauce, chili oil, mushroom oil, and sesame sauce are safe.

went there with vegan friends and they have 3 vegan broth option. one is a spicy mala broth, a tomato broth and a mushroom broth. My favourite was the tomato one. they have a lot of tofu sets and plenty of veggies. breadsticks and scallion pancakes were also vegan. In general u order with a tablet: option to turn it to english. all the dishes have an ingredient list so u can check for anything that isn't vegan!

I love eating at haidilao. It’s my go to restaurant. They have so many broth options to select from(tomato, mushroom, pickled cabbage, spicy oil) and they have a lot of veggies, noodles and tofu options as well. The sauce bar is also vegetarian friendly with a lot of options. They even put a vegan sign on our table to let the other staff know. It’s my go to restaurant always!
