The smoked salmon (carrot) toast was excellent, 5/5. The burrito (without cheese) was maybe more like 3/5. Service and setting lovely, looking out over the beach.

Yummy food but slow service - Edit
The food was really good! We had salads and bowls as well as the "chicken" nuggets and it was delicious. Unfortunately the service was really slow and therefore the only waiter couldn't take much time with us and seemed stressed when we asked some questions about the food. The owner seemed to be drinking with his friends instead of helping out in busy periods which seemed weird. Could be so much better with more personnel so the waiters can really take their time to make guests feel welcome and not "like a burden".

Probably my favorite place I tried on my trip. - Edit
I had a burrito with vegan protein added. I chose the jalapeño Mayo and the Asian peanut sauce with my wrap. They dressing are SO good. The jalapeño Mayo had some good kick to it. The guac was tasty. Everything was 👌🏼. The passion fruit cheesecake was probably my favorite thing. I wish I was here longer so I could try every sauce. They were out of the snickers dessert when I went unfortunately bc from the pictures that looks amazing.

GREAT carrot lox😍 - Edit
I was literally in heaven when I was here! Been traveling for a while and the carrot lox was the pick me up I needed to start enjoying food again. Also tried the oyster mushroom chicken fingers and nachos. All were delish! Am stopping by again for the lox before we leave💕The view and staff are super lovely as well.

The food is delicious, organic and local. The restaurant is vegetarian but everything can be made vegan. If you like a healthy meal with a beautiful view at the Caribbean beach, this is the place to be! Just be patient. It took a while before we got our dishes. But hey, we are in the Caribbean: slow vibes!

I have eaten here multiple times and I’ve always enjoyed not only their food but the atmosphere. All the food is tasty and fresh and generally made with as much organic ingredients as possible. Their beverages are equally as delicious. Definitely a must try while in Puerto Viejo.
