This is such a great spot right across the border, only takes about 35 minutes coming from Bellingham with little traffic. I’ve been a handful of times and every time the staff has been so friendly and welcoming! I’ve had a bunch of items on the menu and everything has been great, including the coffee. Highly recommend the brekkie wrap - the Caesar salad that comes with it is SO good. Also really enjoyed the influencer bowl. They always have water for my pup when I come and also dog treats at the counter😄

The greens toastie was super tasty, loved the tomato jam and pickled red onions. Loaded piece of toast with some great caesar salad on the side. The bread was strong too so it carried all the toppings and didn’t bend or absorbed too much moisture.

I'm glad I found this place. Not many vegan options at all in my town so I headed over here. Worth the trip and I recommend to every who is or eve possibly isn't in the area. It will be worth the trip.

I am on a bicycle tour and needed a good lunch to power me across the border. This eatery fulfilled that need very well.
Read moreThe meal was tasty and has some nice protein components - lentils and tofu with the rice base.
The only negative thing was the price but maybe I am out of touch with how much meals out are these days.
My impression of this town is that it is write upscale. Maybe the rents are seriously high.
Regardless, I would eat here again I I was too pass through again (I detoured about 10kms to eat here and glad that it didn't disappoint my stomach).
The staff were excellent.

I’ve been vegan for 10 plus years. I’ve travelled Ont, AB, and BC for food. And even though I have my favourites, Greens and Grounds is by far my favourite!

Drinks to eats and sweets. The vibe is fun and upbeat. Love the names of their dishes. Friendly staff, excellent kitchen team. I can’t say enough about them.
We ordered the OG, which is a yogurt bowl. The brekkie wrap, which was the most amazing wrap I have ever had (the flavours the texture just perfect!), havanna banana smoothie, ice queen, and some treats to go.
I’m kicking myself because our original plan was to stay up in that area for a few nights, but we ended up going to Kelowna instead. Please if you are debating where to stay, stay up in the Surrey area just for Greens and Grounds.

On vacation in White Rock and G&G cafe was the perfect addition to a sunny Sunday morning stroll. I opted for the granola breakfast bowl and the choc/peanut butter on toast (way too much food but couldn’t decide) and it was amazing. The granola was so good. Will defo be back for sure before we return home. Had a great vibe! 🙏🏼

Great place with lots of options. I especially like the Rice Rice Baby bowl and the Eggsquisite sandwich is to die for. I have had several different items here and there is nothing that I don't like. I highly recommend it.

WORTH THE WAIT - Sooo Fresh & Delicious - Edit
I was so excited to see a vegan restaurant in white rock after being away for a few years. The two staff whom I think were the owners were so friendly and had an amazing vibe. We had an influencer bowl and OG coconut yogurt and it was fresh and delightful. Also had a cinny bun to go afterwards and also recommend that. Great flavours. Everything is made with passion and art. I can’t wait to go back!! #Veganuary

I still can’t believe I don’t have to ask them 20x to make sure there’s no dairy in it. Sooo happy! Also saw lots of people in line for food which is sooo great! Very impressed! I had the Brekkie Wrap with Creamy cauliflower soup of the day, and got chocolate for dessert. High end food in an entirely plant based restaurant. Come early- every table was full when I arrived, and there were several people ordering to go too. Not cheap, but real, good food never is. Wasn't too pricy either tho!
