Perfect place - Edit
It definitely hard to find a restaurant like this in SRQ.
Course there are 2 great one too (Ionies and Nutritious for you), but these offers a huge variation of food from breakfast to dinner.
Also a great opportunity to sit together with younger people.
Highly recommend for healthy living people.
May the service has some potential to be more effective.
Go ahead!

Wow! This cafe is Wonderful!
I had the Tuscan Lasagna... Squash noodles, marinara, nut cheese, basil, pesto, tomato, spinach, and bell Peppers. Delectable! My wife had the St. Armand's Salad and my Mum had the Bella sandwich with grilled portabella, goat cheese roasted onion, spinach and Tomatoes.
Drinks: the green energy and the sweet surrender!
Very, very enjoyable!

THE BEST RAW VEGAN RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD !!! - Edit
This is by far the best raw restaurant in the world. At least in the countries and states I've been to. Forget New York, California, Paris, Sydney...famous raw chefs. Here in Sarasota at Green Zebra is the best tasting raw cuisine. The ambiance is great, the service is so excellent, and most importantly the food is incredible. We have brought non vegan friends to this place and they loved it. I've been to the other restaurants in town that offer raw vegan menu, I've tried them all, nothing can compare to Green Zebra. I would rate this gem 100 stars if I can, HappyCow allows only 4 since they offer one or two meat sandwiches. Their menu is not completely raw, they offer a lot of cooked vegan and vetetarian dishes also. Visit Green Zebra Cafe, and you will fall in love with it.
Pros: amazing food and service, large menu, very casual and friendly
Cons: very busy sometimes

support this place! - Edit
It's a bummer that happy cow is so strict about reviews. This place is 90% vegetarian with extensive vegan options for both breakfast and lunch. The raw menu items we tried were so delicious and the couple of chicken options meant that it was easy to convince our non vegan MIL to go there with us. For veggie places to survive in some areas they can't afford to be 100% veg. Support this place and know that your meat eating friends won't roll their eyes or turn their noses about going to someplace "weird" while you scarf on raw taco salad and a yum smoothie.

FANTASTIC RAW, VEGAN MEAL AND SMOOTHIE CHOICES! - Edit
I made plans to visit Sarasota for a day at the beach with a friend. As a long-term, whole-foods based vegan, I expected to have to settle for a basic salad or bland pasta dish from one of the seafood-focused restaurants in St. Armand's Circle. Let me just say.... I am thrilled to have discovered Green Zebra online (thanks to VegSarasota). Not only was the restaurant (and restroom) clean and comfortable, but the owners were very friendly too. And HOLY WOW... our meals were ssooooo fantastic that we HAD to order more food to take home! My companion is not even vegan, yet we BOTH thoroughly enjoyed the (shared) raw manicotti, raw baja burrito, raw thai wraps, acai energy smoothie, and green power smoothie. There are so many healthy, tasty vegan/raw options on the menu that it was tough to choose. I can hardly wait to return and try the raw portobello Napoleon, cold-pressed juice, and wellness shots. You can believe I'll be taking food home again next time. The beach may have pulled us to the area this time, but we will gladly make the 45-minute drive back to Sarasota JUST to enjoy another extraordinary, feel-good meal at Green Zebra Cafe.

The best vegan food in Sarasota!!! - Edit
Oh thank goodness for Green Zebra Cafe! I was feeling totally crap and the Acai Energy was a godsend. I was staying just down the block and stopped in at least twice a day; everything I tried was excellent. The prices aren't that much different than other places around, and the quality is much, much better, it was really great to have this lovely little organic oasis of niceness to pop into whenever I was hungry or needed a little pick-me-up.
The people that worked there were all really, really nice - they made it a real pleasure every time I dropped in. Great vegan and vegetarian menu: Awesome coldpessed juices, smoothies, salads, sandwiches. The best raw food in Sarasota, and desserts are out of this world. Vegan and gluten free.
Pros: Organic/gluten free, Great people, friendly staff, Amazing food and drinks
Cons: none.

Great Raw Spaghetti Marinara and Desserts - Edit
Owners Vasil and Elena are delightful and the their vegan tiramisu is amazing. I have eaten at Green Zebra several times since they opened in August 2015...each experience was positive and delicious. I wish they offered more 'cooked' vegan food, as Sarasota has 3 excellent raw vegan restaurants.
