I had the cold pastrami sandwich when I was here. I was impressed by the pastrami, I would have liked to try more of their vegan meats! I don’t typically eat faux meats but I think this is very creative and a fun experience. The only thing I would say with the sandwich is that the rest of it was extremely standard, it sort of felt like I could’ve just made it at home. I might be missing something here, but I would totally go back and give another sandwich a try ❤️

This place has SUCH a welcoming atmosphere, very polite and patient and happy to recommend menu items. Immaculate old school deli vibes, right down to the music playlist. The Mac salad is amazing, and SO many pay-by-the-pound vegan meat options, and deli sides like chickpea tuna salad, pasta salad, etc. The combo deal is also a steal! A sandwich, chips, cookie, and drink all for about $15 /-. Also, ALL VEGAN! WHAT A DREAM! Will be returning here!

Fantastic sandwiches! We got the You Ain’t Seen Muffin Yet with bacon and the We Don't Talk About Pesto sandwiches and both were delicious. Also tried the baked bacon mac & cheese. It wasn't what we were expecting because it was kind of dry. We loved the sandwiches so much that I wanted to go back the next day and try some more!

Service is fantastic and the food is amazing! They sell their house-made "meats" by the pound, and those are delicious, but stop and get a sandwich too. Trust me, they're worth it! Also...bacon mac n cheese!
Read moreService is also fantastic! Everyone is so friendly and eager to answer any questions you have. They make the sandwiches fresh, so it can be a little slow if they are busy but it's worth the wait.
My only gripe is that it isn't wheelchair accessible at all, but the staff is very willing to help with that too.

I love Grass Fed! Everything is vegan! They can make you subs or you can get any "meat" by the pound. They also have dips for sale!

I found this place online and then started following on ig. Tried a few of their sandwiches. Absolutely delicious. Went back then the next day and tried two different sandwiches. I'm excited to be able to eat anything off the menu! Highly recommend.

I was fully unprepared for how good this would be. I had the turkey club and everything about it was perfect. The turkey and bacon were fabulous, but the real sign that they’re serious about their sandwiches was the fixins - these are often ignored. Not at Grass Fed! Also, as a note, the staff seemed to be having a fabulous time with each other, which shows it’s probably a great environment to work in and should be supported.

I was blown away by this sandwich. Also they offer a bangin deal to add chips a cookie & drink for only $4. I can’t recommend the pastrami enough. Like a classic italian deli sandwich i'd get out in North Jersey or Long island when I was young long before I was vegan.

Have we driven 1 hour from buffalo to get here just for lunch or dinner and then back, Yes. A vegan “meat” shop, What? This place is incredible and the staff is amazing. All the sandwiches are delicious but I feel that the Turkey club is just an absolute must.

Considering how rare vegan delis/"butcheries" are, I was pleasantly surprised when they opened and so happy they're in town. Excellent sandwiches, holiday offerings (their turk'y loaf was great!), and vegan meats by the pound in the case. Don't sleep on the cookies either!

This place makes their own vegan meats out of seitan: turkey, ham, pastrami, bacon,etc. you can take it home or ask for sandwiches to eat on the functional seating inside the store. I had the double-decker turkey plus bacon sandwich, and my friends had other type of vegan meat sandwiches, they all taste great. I wish they were a place like this closer to where I live!

I just love this place! I am working my way thru their menu. The sandwiches are creative, reasonably priced, and consistently good. Staff is friendly and attentive. They are worth the drive but I love that I can get their cold sandwiches in my local market. I usually get the sandwich combo because the cookies are delicious!

This was our first time visiting since it’s a newer restaurant. The portions were a tad bit smaller than I expected, but ended up being very filling regardless. The owner was very nice and suggested other new veg places in roc to visit. I had a salami cold sandwich and it was amazing, especially the bread which was quite saturated with the oil and vinegar, yet incredibly crispy on the crust - a dream. My husband got the monte cristo and loved it. It was soft enough my 15 month old was eating bites of it. I tried some of the ham, and said “what does ham even taste like?” And my husband tried to explain it to no avail. Once I tasted it, I overwhelmingly remembered what it tasted like. It’s been over a decade since I’ve had meat, and I can’t tell the difference between many mock meats, but that one bite made me say, damn, that’s what ham tasted like!! Wish we could have gone again.

Can’t wait to go back for more! We visited roc from Syracuse and grabbed a few different ‘meats’ to try. They were out of the gouchjang sausage but would like to get that too next time! Bacon was great in BLTs and pepperoni on pizzas was so yummy. Thanks for marking flavorful and creative choices for us!

Since we don't get to the city much, we like to try a vegan eatery when we go. And we always get large orders to go when we do. This place. We started with lunch, and we ordered two hot sandwiches, each cut in half to share, of course! So good! Then we ordered lunch meat to make our own subs later and steaks to grill later. What a treat!!
