Nice all around

We had the Yasai vegan ramen and were both happy. We usually get the tofu appetizer, but realized it’s vegetarian and not vegan, so opted out.

The inside and outside choice of atmosphere is nice and location great!

Pros: Vegan ramen on menu, Nice outside seating , Location in Paseo

Cons: Lack of vegan appetizers, Wish an additional vegan ramen was on menu

Ramen in okc

I think I love the mushroom mazeman the best. It is not ramen, but an interesting tasty dish. I have gotten the yasai several times. I usually get it without the tomato and I cut up the tofu early on so it can soak up some broth.

Pros: Location in art district, Locally owned, Good add in options

Not Impressed...

Maybe I'm boujee because I've been to Japan...and well.. even outside the state... but this ramen isn't great. Honestly, none of the ramen here in OKC is great but Goro has to be my least favorite. The wait time was long, the ramen was luke-warm, the tofu was super tough and had no seasoning what-so-ever, and they put tomato in it? Like what? Have you ever even seen ramen with a cold tomato?? You're better off just getting 50 cent veggie ramen from Super Cao Nguyen grocery. That tastes why better and is more authentic.

My boyfriend who isn't vegan had the regular ramen couldn't even finish either and said it was the worst ramen he'd had.

I don't get the hype, I think most of these people here haven't ever had authentic ramen. I guess if you haven't had actual ramen you'd think it's good? I mean you don't even need to go to Japan for good ramen. I've been to other states that have amazing ramen too.

I hate leaving bad review but yikes... I really want wanted to like you, Goro. :(

Poor food, poor service

The yasai ramen was so-so, the tofu nikuman was a travesty--this is not Japanese food. Busy night, waited at least 40 minutes so I'm surprised someplace this popular was that bad. Parking is a bit hard to get as well. Unfortunately there's not many vegan options in OKC so this was the best I could do at the particular day and time.

Pros: Vegan options

Cons: Not tasty, Parking, slow service

Incredible food, sweet staff!

The food at Goru was fantastic. We had the Brussels Sprouts, Eggplant Wontons, Tofu Nikuman (steamed buns), and the Yasai ramen. The fried brussels sprouts were my favorite, and the eggplant wontons were my girlfriend’s favorite. The server recommended a drink and offered to make it vegan for us. They also told us all about all the other vegan options in town, including where to get dessert since they didn’t have a vegan dessert option. The presentation was beautiful and the restaurant was lovely. We will absolutely be back.

Pros: Tasty food, Friendly servers, LGBTQ-friendly

Authentic vegan ramen

I love the vegan ramen and the tofu steamed bun. The Brussels sprouts salad is awesome too! The only negative I would say is the fact that they don't allow take-out. But that doesn't stop me from going here.

Great place for lunch or dinner. The vegan options are marked.

They have Wakame salad, brussels sprouts salad, wonderful home-made steamed bun with tofu and a big ramen soup with mushrooms and fried shallots - really delicious! I will definitely go there again!

Excellent Ramen / Cool Atmosphere

I just had a bowl of vegan ramen with a side of chili garlic boost. The ramen noodles are fresh and firm, and the added tofu makes the dish more filling and tasty.. The broth is strong, but not nearly as powerful as when I added the boost side sauce.

I was quickly seated, and the ramen bowl came out in just a few minutes.

The vibe is modern, dark and cool.

Recommended.

Pros: really good bowl too f vegan ramen, cool music and vibe

Hip, friendly and fun

Awesome place! I had the Brussels sprouts and the vegan noodle bowl. Both were outstanding. I had two cocktails as well. Both were unique, well made and tasty! The view of the open kitchen from the bar is great!

Pros: unique and delicious, knowledgeable and friendly servers, open kitchen

Cons: a bit pricey
