Veg/vegan menu section - Edit
Everything on the veg/vegan menu can be made vegan. Mushroom taco was great. They have a vegan rice side that's not listed on the menu (Mexican rice on menu is not vegan). Server knew all this and suggested to me. Great service and the food was good, too!

Great experience with very full flavors - Edit
I've been meaning to get down to OSO in the Paseo for some time. They present their food so well on social media and it just pops off the screen on IG. My wife and I went for dinner this evening and had a great experience. Though not a pure Vegan or Vegetarian restaurant, there are many options available.
Read moreWe started with the homemade guacamole which really hit the spot. For the entree, my wife had the Taco Meal (choice of two tacos + two sides) and she had the mushroom and fried avocado tacos. Had a bite of both and they were outstanding. Another note. There are 4 homemade sauces that come with your meal - try the serrano on your tacos. Outstanding. I had the Vegan Enchiladas with green sauce (comes with choice of red or green with red being the spicier).
I really wanted to highlight the depth of flavor not only in my enchiladas with the smokey, full flavor but also the flavor of the sides. The black beans were not bland and could have been a standalone meal on it's own - just the perfect blend of cumin, chili powder, etc. I'll be down here again soon for more.
Ambiance. Since we were eating in February, the ample outdoor seating area was not an option, but there is a larger outdoor capacity in the warmer months. Would give 5* if possible.

We picked this place because they had both vegan options for my wife and I and other options for our friends. We had the sopa verde, sweet potato tacos and the vegan enchiladas. The food was all wonderful and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Besides a really cute location, great drinks, and robust menu, the food is realllllly good!! Flavorful, healthy & vegan options abound. The mushroom tacos are outstanding. My carnivorous friends highly recommended the brisket they tried.

Love Oso! - Edit
This is my favorite Mexican in the city! The green and habanero salsa are vegan. There are a couple of vegan tacos, plus my favorite the vegan enchiladas. They even have special vegan rice. The staff is so nice, I'm there often enough they know me and my family.
