Falafel salad!!! - Edit
Love the falafel; it’s legit (green inside!). The vegetables and fresh and crunchy, except for the marinated beets. Can’t go wrong here.

Ate here a year ago and still think about it - Edit
Ate here for a quick meal when I was in town for a layover (recommended by a friend). I still think about this meal 2 years later. It’s a vegans dream. Creative and fun foods, reasonable prices for amount you get, clearly labeled, and most importantly, absolutely delicious. Loved their tahini shake which of course they are famous for.

I enjoyed the Falafel Salad, which included baby kale, napa cabbage, six falafel balls, carrot, beet, marinated green cabbage, cucumber, fresh herbs, za'atar sunflower seeds, lemon date vinaigrette, tehina, and served with an Israeli pickle.

Solid hummus and falafel - Edit
Read that Questlove recommended Goldie. I went with the falafel hummus platter that came with hummus and falafel, side of pita and side veggie dish with pickle. Solid and recommended!

I am not vegan but I love a good humus. Some of the best falafel I have ever had (everyone who has come with me agrees). And the shakes are great. First sip 🤔 second sip 😍

Very impressed - Edit
I was in Philadelphia recently on an annual trip, and for the second year in a row, I had a lunch at this Goldie location on Sansom street. I'll probably do that again in the future, since I haven't had an item on their menu yet that I didn't find delicious.
Read moreBefore this most recent visit, I saw a previous review praising their shakes and decided to give one a try alongside my food. I ended up choosing the mint shake, and I'd gladly order that again.
I don't have anything negative at all to say about Goldie. I've been thoroughly satisfied both times I've ordered from this location and next time I'm in the city I'll gladly do so again.
Pros: Delicious food options, Shakes

Turkish Coffee Tehina Shake 😍 - Edit
The Turkish coffee tehina shake is amazing! It is definitely a dessert and not so much a coffee but absolutely delicious! It is quite sweet and rich and there are bits of pistachio and halva. I would definitely order it again!

I LOVE GOLDIE - Edit
Goldie is seriously one of my favorite quick service vegan places in Philly - both the falafel sandwiches and salads are amazing, the tahini milkshakes are so creamy and delicious, the fries are bomb, and the Tumeric lime soda is one of my favorite drinks…ever. I’ve never had better falafel, don’t walk, RUN to eat here!!

Satisfies falafel cravings - Edit
While Mama's Vegetarian will always be Philly's best falafel, even after closing, Goldie is a close second. Their falafel sandwiches never fail to satisfy a craving and the shawarma fries and Turkish shake complete the meal perfectly. Because vegans and non-vegans alike rave about this place, the line is usually out the door around lunch so be sure to get there early!

Fine Falafel - Edit
Tahini shakes are quite delicious. Well conceived falafel sandwich with tahini sauce options. Shawarma spice flavored fries very nicely done. No big globs of spices. The spices were evenly...no, artfully applied.

The owner's brother was in the IDF. Owner opening this restaurant was prompted by his brother getting killed. Sounds like Zionism to me, and that's messed up.
