I'm wary - Edit
The owner's brother was in the IDF. Owner opening this restaurant was prompted by his brother getting killed. Sounds like Zionism to me, and that's messed up.

Key Eatery for Falafel + Creamy Drinks! - Edit
I've eaten at multiple Goldie locations in Philadelphia, and the high food-quality is consistent in every place. Falafel (which I learned is food from Lebanon), is their specialty.
Read moreI highly recommend that you enjoy their Mint Chocolate Tehina Shake and fries with your falafel order here.
When ordering Falafel here, you must say which sauce you want: Amba (mild spice), Harissa (medium), or Schug (high spice level).

Yo, I love this place - Edit
I never liked falafel until I started eating here. There menu is nice and small, and everything on it is delicious. Schug is the best sauce, with amba close behinde. The Turkish coffee tahina shake, with the halva mixed in, is one of the greatest things ever made.

Just perfect! Totally perfect! - Edit
After several meals and shakes here I have to stay that Goldie is just perfect!
Read moreThe falafel is beyond amazing! It is among the very best of the very best! The fries with zatar seasoning are so amazing you can't comprehend it until you have tried it...especially when you include their sauce with the fries.
The shakes, oh the shakes! I just worship the Turkish Coffee flavor and loads of people feel the same way about all of the other flavors too, for good reason.
You cannot possibly go wrong here!
Pros: Everything is amazing, including the service., The greatest falafel

Wonderfully flavorful! - Edit
I can’t believe I didn’t try this place for so long! I figured this place would be just like any other falafel shop, but its not. The flavors are so wonderful for everything we ordered. I STRONGLY recommend the original tehina milkshake. Possibly the best vegan milkshake I’ve ever had.

Always Hits the Spot - Edit
Such a cozy spot to grab a quick lunch. I found this place a few months after moving to Philly and fell in love. Some personal go tos are the Falafel Gyro, Fries and Tahina shake. This is the only place I know of in Philly with vegan shakes!

Non-vegans will love it too! - Edit
Absolutely delicious! This all-vegan falafel shop is my go-to spot if my lunch companion is a close-minded meat eater who needs their mind opened FAST. The falafel sandwich is the way to go if you want the full experience, but the salad is really exciting too if you want something (just slightly) lighter. The tahini milkshakes are wonderful. If you’re skeptical or not a huge tahini fan, get a flavored one and you won’t taste the tahini. My favorites are the mint chocolate chip and the coffee.

If you love tahini - Edit
This is the place to go ... Tahini on everything 😍 and the loaded fries are scrumptious the flavors work well together. I love when a restaurant has only a few staple foods because that means they have specialized in those meals

TAHINI - Edit
I have tried to make tahini milkshakes at home several times, and it just never quite comes out as good as the shakes from Goldie. I think I've tried all of the flavors and they're all addicting. Maybe it's due to an incredible amount of sugar, but still totally worth it for a treat once in a while. The falafel is also super tasty and crisp, and the dipping sauce is a nice fresh addition. One of the best places in Philly for a quick bite!

Don't ever go here... - Edit
... or else you'll never stop dreaming about the tahini shakes. Or the falafel. People don't believe me when I tell them just how good it was. It really was. I discovered it on my second-last day. I was back there again the following day, even though it was rushed and out of my way to get back to it.

fast service and food very juicy and delicious - Edit
Goldie is a small chain that serves falafel. We went for lunch and there was a long line with limited seating so get here early! Or hope to get lucky as someone leaves as you are entering 🙂 Each table has little containers of pickled beets and jalapeños. We had a falafel salad with kale, iceberg, cabbage, beets, carrots, and cucumbers topped with sunflower seeds, fresh herbs, and tahini (9 USD). Additionally, we had Falafel with pita bread, cucumber, tomatoes, red harissa sauce, cabbage, tahini, and parsley (7.50 USD). The service was very fast and the food very juicy and delicious. Goldie sells many of the products that are used to create the menu.

fantastic falafel and shakes - Edit
You must get a shake here, it's fantastic! The falafel salad was perfect for lunch. It's not just lettuce and falafel, but golden beets, sunflower seeds, tahini dressing, and other veggies - beautiful! Get there early or be prepared to wait in line at lunch time. Not much seating but close to parks.

Say Yes to Falafel (& Tahina Shakes) - Edit
This is some of the best falafel I've ever tasted. Their menu hear isn't very extensive because it has no need to be. Just eat the falafel, and the fries, and DO NOT MISS the tahina shakes. They are all incredible so I cannot even tell you what is best to try first. The vibe and service here are also on point.

Delicious tahini shakes...but the food? - Edit
The shakes are literally amazing. The fries are good. The falafel tho??? Eh it need serious improvement. The wraps we ordered lacked a lot of flavor. I won't be eating here again. I'll probably get a shake tho.
