Cracking pub - Edit
Second visit, probably the best seitan kebab I've had. Friendly staff the moment you walk through the door, excellent vegan scran at a decent price.

Incredible food - had the O’ Holy Smoke burger with roast potatoes and gravy from their Christmas menu. A cosy old pub with a modern twist.

Chill vibes & great food :) - Edit
Pub with delish food - what do you want more. Rock vibes, friendly staff and awesome food.
Read moreHuge menu - it was so hard for me to pick an option but went with a blue cheese burger with caramelized onions and thyme & garlic fries. Fries hit the right spot (I was slightly hanging). Crispy, coated in spices covered in sauce. The burger was a total bang too. Something different to usual vegan burgers. Totally recommend if you look for chilled vibes, some nice bevies and of course - heavy, yummy food.
Oh and easy access to sockets! I was travelling, so to be able to charge my phone without bothering the staff was a massive help😄
Pros: Friendly staff, Chilled atmosphere, Rock music

Very good selection - Edit
My friend and I split the fish and chips and battered sausage and chips. Both of the dishes were delicious. They had lots more on the menu at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend going there, and I would love to try the other dishes.

So happy this place exists - Edit
Super lovely, all vegan pub. Staff is very friendly and treat both customers and each other with kindness. The food is amazing, everything is a little bit on the naughty side, so I'd love to have a slightly more wholesome, healthy option on the menu (but would it still be pub food if it was healthy? ;)). That's the only thing I'd change though! So happy that Prickly Pear's food gets to live on in the Golden Fleece 🙏

Menu was impressive but the food was lacking - Edit
Massive menu with lots of options for brunch, sides, bowls and burgers. Had the breakfast nachos which was very inventive and looked nice but was lacking in taste. Mac and cheese lacking in flavour too. My partner had the breakfast burger which was fine. The best thing we got was the battered sausage side!! It was very tasty and the curry sauce it came with was delicious. I would go back to try more things.

Dirty filthy room not fit to stay in! - Edit
I booked a room through Airbnb for my partner and I on Saturday June 10th. When we arrived there was a piece of cardboard replacing a smashed out window. The room was dusty and filthy and there was a stained mattress with no protector. It was so gross we didn’t stay and went home. The owner Marc has been nothing but rude refusing to refund me instead blaming us for not asking for the room to be cleaned. Who does that? Don’t stay there whatever you do.

Decent place - Edit
It’s a nice place with good food but I don’t think the food is the best, just okay imo. The burgers, Mac and cheese and kebab are nice, not amazing, but didn’t enjoy the nachos as much.
Read moreEdit: I had the jerk fries and they were amazing, not jerk but periperi, vegan breakfast was really good too. Breakfast burrito was mid. Mocha with oat milk is very good

Lovely pub - Edit
Was in the area and popped in for something to eat. Was pleasantly surprised to find a fully vegan pub. Had a Sunday roast, also a pleasant surprise to find alcohol free lager on tap rather than just your standard bottles of becks blue. The staff were friendly and the pub had a lovely atmosphere. Would love to go back in the evening sometime.

Very quick service on a Sunday.
Read moreA nice sounding menu.
We both had the Sunday roast.
It arrived and looked nice.
But it was average unfortunately nothing special. All well cooked but average run of the mill veg potatoes, cabbage , broccoli and carrots.
Yorkshire puddings very doughy better as a pudding.
Even something like cauliflower cheese/ parsnips added then I would have been very happy.
We would visit again but choose something different from the menu. Had better vegan Sunday lunch at non gluten free places.

We loved the little pub. I had the smokey burger and my husband had the tofish and chips which were both amazing and reasonably priced. Two mains and two drinks for £29.

Went with my friend to Nottingham and stopped at this cute pub. I ordered a seitan doner pita with a chocolate and banana milkshake and my friend bought loaded fries and a salted caramel milkshake. Overall, the food was very enjoyable.

Went to Nottingham to a concert and found this place so decided on giving it a try. Was so happy to have found it as the food was so yummy and well presented and flavoursome. Tried a plant based burger and had barbecue chicken loaded fries which were so delicious. Staff were lovely too and really welcoming. Went with a friend and it was early so only ones eating but it got busier as we were leaving..definitely recommend if you visit Nottingham
